In The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, press T on a keyboard, the View button on an Xbox controller, or the touch pad on a PlayStation controller to wait. These are Bethesda’s default controls; if you changed your bindings, check the in-game controls for the current input.

What to know about waiting in the original Oblivion
The original Oblivion PC manual says that sleeping, waiting, potions, or spells can restore Health and Magicka. It also lists walking, resting, waiting, potions, and spells as ways to restore Fatigue. These are details from Bethesda’s 2007 original-game manual, not confirmation of identical behavior in Remastered. (Bethesda’s original PC manual)

If an NPC does not obey a Wait action
Bethesda’s Oblivion Remastered Update 1.2 notes, dated July 16, 2025, list a fix for “NPCs not obeying the Wait action from the player.” That documents a bug addressed in that update; it does not guarantee every current wait-related issue is resolved on every game build.
