For out-of-market games, start with WNBA League Pass; for a specific game, check the WNBA schedule first. League Pass carries selected games live, but national broadcasts and local-market rights can block a live stream. In 2026, games are spread across ABC/ESPN, NBC/Peacock/NBCSN, Prime Video, CBS/Paramount+, ION, USA Network and NBA TV, with different options by country.
Choose where to watch by game, location and timing
The most reliable way to find a WNBA game is to check its listing on the current WNBA schedule, then match the listed broadcaster to your country and local market. A service that carries one game may not carry the next, and League Pass availability can differ between viewers in different locations.
- Want out-of-market games? League Pass is the starting point for live games and replays, subject to rights exclusions and blackouts.
- Following a local team? Check the team’s local broadcaster and the League Pass ZIP-code checker in the US; local games may be unavailable live on League Pass.
- Looking for one game tonight? Use the WNBA schedule to identify its broadcaster rather than subscribing based on a general list of partners.
- Want to watch a replay? League Pass offers full-length next-day replays, with blacked-out games becoming available at different times depending on the type of blackout.
What League Pass includes—and what it does not
WNBA League Pass offers every out-of-market game live, subject to national exclusions and local blackouts in the US and Canada. It also offers full-length replays the next day and classic games. The WNBA League Pass FAQ says streams can be watched on up to three devices at once and lists supported platforms including the WNBA app, WNBA.com, and Amazon Fire TV.
League Pass is not a guarantee of every game live in every market. A game assigned to a national broadcaster, or to the local broadcaster for your market, may be unavailable live through League Pass. Availability varies by country and local team footprint; check the specific matchup before paying.

Why a game may be blacked out on League Pass
US national broadcasts
The WNBA’s blackout guidance, updated August 12, 2026, says games shown nationally on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Disney+, CBS, Paramount+, NBC, Peacock, USA Network or Amazon Prime Video are not available live on League Pass in the US. A nationally blacked-out game becomes available on League Pass at 6 a.m. ET the following day.
US local-market games
A locally televised game featuring the viewer’s local WNBA team can also be unavailable live on League Pass. The WNBA says US local-market coverage is determined using ZIP code, while location may be identified through IP address or device location services. Locally blacked-out games become available on League Pass shortly after they conclude. The game may instead be available from its local station, regional sports network or national distributor.

Because the WNBA says excluded-game lists may change, use the current schedule and the US ZIP-code package checker instead of relying on another viewer’s result or an old list.
Canada
Canada has a separate rights map. The WNBA’s blackout article identifies TSN, Sportsnet (SN), CTV and CTV2 as national providers whose games are excluded live from League Pass. Its How to Watch information also lists Sportsnet, TSN, Prime Video, CBS Sports Network, NBA TV Canada, Meta and X for certain Canadian regular-season games, with other games streaming live on League Pass. Since those lists are not identical, check the current schedule for the specific game and its named provider.

League Pass is available globally except in Belarus, China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Crimea, Donetsk People’s Republic and Luhansk People’s Republic, according to the WNBA Help Center article updated March 17, 2026. Rights and available games vary by country, so confirm availability for your location and matchup.
In select markets, League Pass can also be purchased through Prime Video Channels. The WNBA Help Center article updated June 9, 2026 lists Australia, Austria, Brazil, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, India, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the US. This is a separate viewing route: a Prime-purchased subscription works through Prime Video’s apps or website, not WNBA.com or the WNBA app.
How to check a game before subscribing
- Open the current WNBA schedule and find the exact matchup and date.
- Check the game listing for its broadcaster or streaming service. If you are in Canada, use the Canadian listing; if you are in the US and considering League Pass, check the ZIP-code package checker as well.
- Confirm that the listed provider is available to you in your country and local market. For League Pass, account for national and local blackouts as well as the replay timing.
- Choose the viewing route you intend to use. A League Pass subscription purchased directly from the WNBA and one purchased through Prime Video are not interchangeable app logins.
- Check the provider’s current subscription terms and supported devices before checkout; prices and regional availability are not specified in the WNBA schedule information summarized here.
Watching League Pass through Prime Video
If you buy League Pass through Prime Video Channels, watch it in Prime Video’s app or on its website. The WNBA says this purchase is available only in select markets and does not grant access through WNBA.com or the WNBA app. Choose this route if you specifically want to watch within Prime Video; otherwise, check the WNBA’s direct League Pass options and supported devices.
