To unlock Fortnite’s Crashbrella through Delulu, players had to earn a Victory Royale in the limited-time mode before September 29, 2025, at 9 AM ET. That deadline has passed, and Epic’s cited announcements do not confirm a current or future way to get the glider.
How the Crashbrella unlock worked
Epic’s September 19, 2025 announcement tied the Crashbrella glider to one in-game achievement: earn a Delulu Victory Royale by September 29, 2025, at 9 AM ET. Epic said a qualifying win would unlock the glider instantly.

Delulu was available in two scheduled windows: September 19 at 9 AM ET through September 22 at 9 AM ET, and September 26 at 9 AM ET through September 29 at 9 AM ET. Epic later updated the second window’s match end condition so that matches ended when four players remained. Both windows and the reward deadline have passed.
Can you still get the Crashbrella?
Epic’s published reward condition was time-limited. The official announcements cited here do not establish a Delulu rerun or an alternate way to unlock Crashbrella, so its future availability is unconfirmed. Epic’s News index, accessed October 8, 2026, lists later Fortnite announcements, but does not by itself confirm that this reward has returned.

How Delulu matches worked
Delulu was a no-build Battle Royale mode built around shifting alliances. Epic said each match began with 80 solo players. Nearby players could team up in groups of up to four, and the match normally ended when one player remained; during the second event window, Epic changed the ending condition to four remaining players.
Proximity voice chat let players talk with squadmates and non-squadmates. Spectators could talk with one another and listen to the remaining players. As Epic put it, “Make friends. Break friends.”

Was teaming allowed in Delulu?
Yes. Teaming was part of the mode, unlike in standard Battle Royale rules. Players could form a temporary squad, then leave it and fight former teammates. That permission applied to Delulu; it should not be taken as a general rule for other Fortnite modes.
Voice chat settings players needed
Epic required voice chat to be set to “Everybody” to queue for Delulu. Xbox players were specifically advised to switch from platform voice chat to Fortnite voice chat. Epic did not require a particular headset or microphone; the stated requirement was the in-game voice-chat setup.

What did not unlock Crashbrella
The Crashbrella requirement was a Delulu win, not watching a stream or buying equipment. Epic also announced a separate Twitch viewing reward, the Hiccups Emote, with its own deadline; that reward was not part of the Crashbrella unlock. No physical Crashbrella item, headset, microphone, or paid guide was identified as a way to obtain the glider.
