HP’s OMEN 16 League of Legends Limited Edition is an officially announced collaboration with Riot Games, pairing League-themed black-and-gold styling and keyboard details with gaming hardware. The verified U.S. configuration is model 16-am0065nr; HP’s $1,999.99 starting price was for U.S. preorders announced on October 14, 2025, not a verified current price.
What HP announced
HP announced the laptop with Riot Games at the 2025 League of Legends World Championship in Chengdu, China, on October 14, 2025. HP said U.S. preorder availability on HP.com began at a starting price of $1,999.99. That figure is a historical launch price; current pricing and stock have not been verified. HP’s announcement describes the collaboration and launch terms.
The edition is aimed at fans who want League of Legends details built into the laptop rather than just a standard OMEN machine. HP highlighted QWER and DF key callouts, HEXTECH-inspired gold accents, an exclusive font, enhanced thermal design, and OMEN AI tuning through OMEN Gaming Hub. The edition overview presents several specifications as maximums for the product family, not as a guarantee that every regional configuration is identical.
Verified U.S. configuration
HP’s U.S. product listing identifies the League of Legends Limited Edition as model OMEN 16-am0065nr, product number C77ZLUA#ABA. The specifications below apply to that listed SKU, not necessarily to every edition sold in every country. HP’s U.S. product page lists the following configuration (accessed October 8, 2026):

HP’s wider edition page describes up to an RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, 32 GB of memory, a 1 TB SSD, and a 240 Hz WQXGA display. Treat those as family-level maximum configurations; HP cautions that component performance specifications can vary. The listed U.S. SKU above is more specific than those “up to” figures. HP has not established independent benchmark results for this edition, so the component list should not be read as a tested performance rating.
What to check before buying
- Confirm the exact SKU and GPU. Look for 16-am0065nr if you want the U.S. configuration listed above, and verify the graphics chip on the seller’s live product page.
- Check the display details. The cited U.S. SKU is listed with a 2560 × 1600 IPS panel and a 60–240 Hz range; do not assume every regional listing has the same panel.
- Compare the current price and availability in your region. HP’s $1,999.99 figure was its U.S. preorder starting price in October 2025. HP says regional availability and specifications can vary, and current stock and pricing are not established here.
- Decide whether the themed design matters to you. The special keyboard callouts, gold accents, and League-inspired typography are the defining fan-focused differences described by HP. Consider them alongside the hardware and current price.
The cited specifications describe hardware, not how a particular game will perform. No independent testing is established here, and the listed 240 Hz maximum should not be taken as evidence that League of Legends requires a high-refresh display or this GPU.
