GUN is the native utility token of Gunzilla Games’ GUNZ ecosystem, which is associated with the game Off The Grid. Binance announced GUN as its 66th Launchpool project on March 27, 2025, with farming scheduled for March 28–30 and spot trading scheduled to begin March 31. Those are historical launch dates, not confirmation of which exchanges or trading pairs support GUN today.
GUN, GUNZ and Off The Grid are different things
- GUN is the token.
- GUNZ is Gunzilla’s blockchain ecosystem. Its official site describes it as an EVM-compatible Layer 1 built using Avalanche technology, with its own validator set. Gunzilla’s GUNZ site provides network configuration, an explorer and a bridge.
- Off The Grid is the flagship game associated with GUNZ. The token is not established as a requirement for all gameplay; Gunzilla’s materials describe some crypto and NFT features as optional. Gunzilla’s project materials
What GUN is described as doing
Binance Research describes GUN as a utility and governance token for GUNZ. The listed uses include paying network gas and certain Off The Grid ecosystem costs: marketplace NFT purchases, customization items and expendables, subscriptions and Battle Pass, and fees connected with HEX decoding and resale. Gunzilla’s whitepaper likewise calls GUN the native utility token for the GUNZ platform and Off The Grid ecosystem. These are stated uses, not a promise that the token will rise in value, produce returns or make every listed feature available to every player. Binance Research’s GUNZ profile · Gunzilla’s whitepaper
What Binance announced in March 2025
Binance’s March 27, 2025 announcement designated GUN as its 66th Launchpool project. It scheduled farming from March 28 at 00:00 UTC through March 30 at 23:59 UTC, followed by spot trading from March 31 at 13:00 UTC. The announced pairs were GUN/USDT, GUN/BNB, GUN/FDUSD and GUN/TRY. Binance applied its Seed Tag to GUN at launch and cautioned that product availability could vary by region. These details describe the original launch announcement only. Binance announcement, March 27, 2025
| Launch figure | What Binance reported |
|---|---|
| Total and maximum supply | 10 billion GUN |
| Launchpool rewards | 400 million GUN, or 4% of total supply |
| Initial circulating supply at Binance listing | 604.5 million GUN, or 6.05% of total supply |
These are figures Binance published in 2025 for the launch, not a check of current circulating supply or exchange availability. Binance’s launch notice also warned: “Any claims to offer the token(s) for sale before the stated timeline are likely to be false advertising.” That warning referred to offers made ahead of the announced March 2025 timeline, not to any particular seller today.

What is known about GUNZ mainnet status
Gunzilla’s June 12, 2025 migration diary described work with an initial cohort of early adopters and a staged mainnet migration. Gunzilla migration diary, June 12, 2025 The current GUNZ site documents mainnet infrastructure, including a chain ID, RPC configuration, explorer and bridge, but also says in one section that mainnet is undergoing final preparations for launch. That conflicting wording does not establish how broadly players have migrated or whether every product feature is generally available.

Wallets are optional for playing
Gunzilla says users can add GUNZ to MetaMask and use a Ledger hardware wallet for added security. That is an optional self-custody path, not a requirement to play Off The Grid. The project guidance cited here does not identify a Ledger model, so check current compatibility information before choosing hardware. GUNZ wallet guidance
