A separate guide counts seven, so the total is disputed; the routes below follow Game8’s eight-puzzle list. Each puzzle requires entering a directional sequence, then completing additional steps with the shadow mimic and nearby puzzle elements.
Before you start
Nightmare’s Echo is in the Great Tomb of the Nameless Titan, while Memortis Shore is in the Ruins of Time. The location descriptions and command sequences below follow Game8’s guides, updated November 12 and November 6, 2025. These are secondary gameplay guides; an official HoYoverse checklist confirming the count and routes was not among the cited sources.
Enter each sequence in the listed order. The commands begin the puzzle but are not necessarily the entire solution: once the past self appears, follow the movement and interaction steps for that location.
Nightmare’s Echo: Great Tomb of the Nameless Titan
Game8 lists four puzzles on separate platforms, located relative to the Abandoned Matrix of Disorder and Forsaken Realm Platform Space Anchors.

Why guides report different totals
Game8’s all-area guide lists four puzzles in Nightmare’s Echo and four in Memortis Shore, and its separate Memortis Shore guide also includes the fourth puzzle near the Fissure in the Myth Space Space Anchor. All Things How instead reports three Memortis Shore puzzles and seven overall. This guide uses the eight-puzzle count because Game8 provides a distinct location, prerequisite, sequence, and solution for the final Memortis Shore puzzle; neither count is established here as an official HoYoverse total.
