HumanitZ commands are entered in the in-game chat box: press Enter, type a command beginning with /, then press Enter again. On a dedicated server, authenticate first with /AdminAccess [password]; the password comes from the server configuration. The host is automatically an admin in single-player and player-hosted multiplayer sessions.
This list reflects the HumanitZ 1.0 command references available in February 2026. Command capitalization is preserved as documented because available references disagree on whether commands are case-sensitive. For the latest changes, compare the HumanitZ server command compendium.

How to become an admin

AdminPassword=YourSecurePassword123Restart the server after changing the password. Admin authentication must be repeated after reconnecting because it does not persist between sessions. The current HumanitZ configuration reference also says that AdminList.txt does not work at the moment, so do not rely on adding Steam IDs to that file.

In single-player and multiplayer sessions hosted by the player, the host is treated as an admin automatically and does not need /AdminAccess.
Use /admintag to toggle the [Admin] label on your chat messages, or /adminw to open the in-game admin utility panel.

A normal /spawn can fail if there is no valid collision-free space. Try /fspawn when the location is blocked. Internal identifiers can change between versions, so the /adminw interface is the safer way to browse currently available items.

/exp [Value]The February reference states that the entered value is multiplied by 1,000. For example, /exp 50 gives 50,000 XP according to that reference. XP stops increasing after the character reaches the internal maximum level.

Commands and lists to treat cautiously
Some third-party lists include commands such as whitelist, adminlist, and broadcast, but they are not present in the accessible HumanitZ command and configuration references. They are therefore not included here as verified in-game commands.

Likewise, do not assume that an old item or entity identifier still works after a game update. If a spawn command fails, check the current options in /adminw, verify capitalization, and confirm that the target area has enough space. The HumanitZ wiki command compendium was updated on April 14, 2026, later than the February references, so it is the better follow-up reference for changes after this list’s February 2026 scope.

Quick troubleshooting checklist
