How Hurdle’s five rounds work
Hurdle gives feedback on whether guessed letters are correct, misplaced, or not in the answer. Solving a round advances you to the next one, where the previous answer becomes your first guess. In the final round, the game also displays correct and misplaced letters from earlier answers.
Do not treat repeated highlights from earlier guesses as a count of how many times a letter appears in the final answer; the Mashable article cautions that they do not necessarily show the answer’s letter frequency.
