“Infinity Blade II ported to PC for preservation purposes” is a community-reported claim, not a verified official PC release. Epic Games and ChAIR Entertainment announced Infinity Blade II as an iOS-exclusive game for December 1, 2011; Epic’s records also show that the trilogy was removed from sale on December 10, 2018. The available community post does not establish who made a PC port, whether it is available now, or how it was built.
Is there an official Infinity Blade II PC port?
No official PC release is established by the available sources. A Reddit post titled “Former iOS Exclusive Infinity Blade II Ported to PC!” shows that a community port claim exists, but does not independently verify a playable build or identify its creator. The post also does not establish authorization, distribution terms, technical method, supported systems, or how much of the original game is preserved. See the community post.

What is known about the original iOS game?
Epic Games and ChAIR Entertainment announced Infinity Blade II on October 4, 2011, as an iOS-exclusive sequel scheduled for December 1, 2011. The announcement named iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Epic’s announcement.

Epic identifies Unreal Engine 3 as the game’s engine and describes its design for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. The official game page documents touch-first combat: players swipe to attack, and tap on-screen controls to block, dodge, or cast magic. Those gestures make input mapping a central question for any PC adaptation; the available port claim does not explain how it handles them. Epic’s game page and manual.
The original’s documented content includes Siris’s journey through the world of the Deathless, single-player progression and equipment, and three weapon styles: sword and shield, dual weapons, and heavy weapons. Epic also lists the ClashMob feature. The community post does not establish whether a purported PC build includes these elements.

Why was Infinity Blade II removed from the App Store?
Epic dates the Infinity Blade trilogy’s removal from purchase to December 10, 2018. Epic’s notice. Contemporary coverage reported that the App Store listings and in-app purchases were removed and quoted Epic’s explanation: “With the development of Spyjinx and other projects, it has become increasingly difficult for our team to support the Infinity Blade series at a level that meets our standards.” 9to5Mac’s December 2018 report.

What would establish a preservation port?
A credible assessment needs primary project documentation or firsthand, reproducible evidence. The useful questions are specific:
- Provenance: Who produced the build, and what source code and assets does it use?
- Permissions: What authorization or distribution terms apply to the code, assets, and release?
- Fidelity: Which story, locations, combat styles, progression systems, and features are present compared with the original?
- Controls: How do touch gestures map to mouse, keyboard, or controller, and what effect does that have on combat timing?
- Technical scope: Which operating systems and hardware are supported, and does the project use emulation, reimplementation, or another method?
- Durability: Can the build and its documentation be archived and reproduced, and can the required materials be legally distributed?
The community result does not answer these questions. There is no basis here to claim compatibility, a specific porting method, a creator, or preservation completeness.
