That is the manufacturer’s designation; its May 2024 announcement documents the sponsorship at that time, but does not confirm the phone’s status for a 2026 season.
What the PMSL designation means
Infinix’s global GT 20 Pro product page labels the phone the official gaming phone for PMSL in EMEA/CSA. The page’s footnote distinguishes that region from other Infinix tournament designations: MPL in the Philippines, MAL in Malaysia, and MDL in Indonesia.

In a May 14, 2024 announcement, Infinix said the GT 20 Pro was returning as official gaming phone sponsor for PMSL EMEA and CSA for a second consecutive year. That is dated sponsorship history. The available information does not establish whether the phone is the official device for a 2026 season, so the product-page designation should not be read as confirmation of a current-season tournament arrangement.

A 144 Hz screen can refresh up to 144 times per second, but that figure is not the same as a game rendering 144 frames per second. The display refresh rate describes the panel’s capability; a game’s frame rate depends on the title, its available settings, device software, and the conditions in use.
What Infinix’s 120 FPS PUBG MOBILE claim establishes
In its May 2024 announcement, Infinix said the GT 20 Pro was among the first batch of smartphones worldwide to support PUBG MOBILE at 120 FPS. Pixelworks, whose visual technology is associated with the phone’s gaming display features, separately describes an experience of up to 120 FPS in its corporate announcement. These are company and technology-vendor claims about support or capability—not independent measurements showing that every player, game mode, or match will run continuously at 120 FPS.

For a particular GT 20 Pro, the practical check is whether PUBG MOBILE exposes the relevant high-frame-rate option on that phone’s installed game and system software. Availability and actual performance may vary by software version, region, mode, and in-game conditions. The cited statements do not establish sustained frame rates for every configuration, and no independent benchmark result is established here.

- Check that the listing is for the GT 20 Pro model and configuration sold in your country.
- After setup, open PUBG MOBILE’s graphics or frame-rate settings and see whether the 120 FPS option is available for your installed version and selected mode.
- Try the setting in the conditions you normally play. A selectable option is evidence of mode support on that setup, not a guarantee that every match will sustain the target rate.
- Compare local price and availability, software support, and independent performance evidence for the exact model before making a purchase decision.
The sponsorship label identifies a tournament association and the 120 FPS statements describe advertised support; neither, by itself, establishes how the phone performs in every player’s hands.
