Spoilers: This guide covers optional secrets and progression puzzles in Act 3, including puzzle rewards and hidden-room interactions. For the clock, set it to 11:00 for a wing sigil or 4:00 for Ourobot. The custom-card printer requires 2 energy, 1 attack, 1 health, Annoying on the left, and Sniper on the right. The factory totem order is Airborne, Touch of Death, then Bifurcated Strike from top to bottom.
Act 3 takes place in Botopia, P03’s factory. The official Inscryption page describes the game as a blend of deckbuilding, escape-room-style puzzles, and psychological horror.
When Act 3 puzzles become available
First progress to Botopia East and retrieve the battery. P03 then releases you from your restraints, allowing you to stand up and explore. Some puzzle chains are gated behind later events: the second CAPTCHA sequence follows the Photographer and Archivist fights, while the custom-card printer puzzle requires reaching Golly’s zone. The walkthrough by Jason Rodriguez at Prima Games distinguishes these stages.
First CAPTCHA terminals and moving blocks
Open the first chest
Once you are free to explore, go to the opposite room and use the two terminals. Solving both opens a chest containing Fishbot and gives access to the battery. Fishbot is a 1/3 card that costs 3 energy and has a random sigil when played.

Moving-block containers
Two moving-block puzzles are beside P03. The left container holds Mrs. Bomb Remote; the right contains Lonely Wizbot. The board arrangements are not reproduced here, so use the displayed in-game blocks rather than relying on an unverified move sequence.
Set the Cuckoo Clock for its two rewards
The clock is on the wall to P03’s left, beside the printer. Set it to 11:00 to reveal a note bearing the wing sigil. Set it to 4:00 to obtain Ourobot, the Ouroboros card. The 4:00 clue appears later in a Botopia shopping area, so the clock reward can be collected when you know the setting.

Second CAPTCHA and the gem mechanic
Return to this puzzle chain after defeating the Photographer and Archivist. P03 sends you to find a bot in the smelter room; finding it opens the earlier door. Solve the three CAPTCHA terminals to proceed. A fourth terminal tries to connect to a network and remains unavailable until near the finale.
In this sequence, find the floating bot with differently shaped and colored crystals. It unlocks the mox, or gem, mechanic for the third zone.

Build the custom card for the printer
The printer is visible earlier, but this solution depends on reaching Golly’s zone and using the custom-card function. Make a card with these exact properties:
- Cost: 2 energy
- Stats: 1 attack and 1 health
- Left sigil: Annoying, shown as an alarm clock
- Right sigil: Sniper, shown as crosshairs
- Name: Any name works
Take the matching card back to the printer. The sigil marked in red there is also one of the clues for the factory totem.

Activate the totem and find Green Ooze
Collect the sigil clues
The totem solution draws on three clues: the wing sigil from the clock at 11:00, a sigil revealed by spinning and photographing the drone in the battery room, and the red-marked sigil on the custom-card printer.
Set the totem
Enter these sigils from top to bottom:
- Wing / Airborne
- Skull and Crossbones / Touch of Death
- Split Arrows / Bifurcated Strike
Activating the totem reveals a green crystal and teleports you to Green Ooze’s lair. Look at the painting, then talk to him. If he says you do not like it, leave, interact with the totem again, and inspect the painting once more. Whether all three clues must be found before the totem can be solved is not established by the walkthrough.

Other Act 3 secrets to keep in mind
Holo Pelts and the Trader are flagged as meta clues, while the Mycologist and Bone Lord keys obtained in Act 2 can be used in Act 3 for a secret boss. The available walkthrough overview does not give their detailed routes, so those solutions are not included here.
