To get started in inZOI, first check that your computer meets the requirements for your platform. Then create a Zoi, use the in-game guides when you need help, and adjust the simulation pace if you want more time in each day. The controls and settings below are documented in KRAFTON’s October update notice; later patches may change them.
Can your PC run inZOI?
For Windows, compare your processor, memory, graphics card and its VRAM, DirectX version, and free SSD space with KRAFTON’s published requirements. “Gaming PC” is too broad a label to establish compatibility. The figures below are from KRAFTON’s requirements page, checked in 2026; check the current PC requirements before buying or troubleshooting.

To check a Windows PC, press the Windows key, open Run, type dxdiag, and review the System and Display tabs. You can also search for System Information to check your OS build and system details. Compare the actual CPU and GPU models, available memory, and free SSD space against the table rather than relying on a general device label.
KRAFTON says the game checks the environment on first launch and automatically sets graphics quality options. Upscaling and other settings can be used to adjust image quality, but they do not guarantee acceptable performance on hardware below requirements. The publisher warns that the game may not run properly on integrated graphics or some lower-spec mobile GPUs.

Playing on macOS
Steam’s listing includes a separate macOS requirements section: it lists Apple M1 and 16 GB memory as minimum, and Apple M3 and 16 GB as recommended, along with macOS Sequoia 15.0 and separate storage amounts. Platform details can change, so check the current Steam listing before purchasing. KRAFTON’s requirements page cited above presents the Windows table.
What should you do first in inZOI?
During Zoi creation, you choose an ambition. KRAFTON’s October update describes a mentality system connecting traits, characteristics, ambitions, and urges. These are useful ideas to keep in mind as you shape a character, but the update is not a full walkthrough of every creation screen.

Once you are in the game, use the Psycat Guide or Shortcut Guide rather than trying to memorize every control. If you would like a slower simulation, change the day-length setting. The cited update identifies these routes and settings, but menu names or key mappings may change in a later patch.

- Navigate interactions with WASD or the arrow keys.
- Rotate the camera with the arrow keys.
- Change shoulder-view camera focus with X + left/right arrow.
- Move the camera vertically by clicking and dragging the middle mouse button.
- Open the Psycat Guide with F1.
- Open the Shortcut Guide from the Game Menu (Esc).
Camera axis settings are under Game Options > Control > Camera. If a listed control does not work after an update, check the current in-game guide and settings; the mappings come from a version-specific notice, not a guarantee for every later patch. How can you make in-game days longer?
The cited update says the default in-game day is 48 minutes. If you prefer a slower pace, set it to 96 minutes here:

- Select Simulation.
- Under Day Length, choose 96 minutes.
The 96-minute option is a preference, not a universally better setting; choose the pace that suits how you want to play.

For installation or launch problems, account questions, gameplay help, Canvas, reports and restrictions, purchases, or FAQs such as PC specifications and optimal settings, start with the inZOI Help Center. Its categories point to the relevant support route, which is more reliable for account- or installation-specific issues than guessing at a fix.
