For that specific job, YouTube lists Gyre as a cloud tool for continuous prerecorded streams. What IRL Pro does—and what the documentation does not establish
IRL Pro is documented as an Android broadcasting app: it sends a feed to a stream key using RTMP or SRT. The app’s guide does not document file selection, scheduled playback, or looping prerecorded videos. That distinction matters: sending a live feed to YouTube is not the same capability as playing a stored video on repeat.
Accordingly, the available documentation does not support recommending IRL Pro by itself for a 24/7 prerecorded YouTube channel. What a YouTube encoder setup requires
YouTube describes an encoder as the software or hardware that sends a video feed to its live service. The usual connection uses YouTube’s server URL and stream key; the encoder must be configured to send a compatible feed. That explains IRL Pro’s role as a broadcaster, but does not add prerecorded-file playback to its documented features. See YouTube’s encoder setup guide.

Protocol and stream-key matching
Enhanced IRL’s guide says to choose a protocol for the stream key and configure IRL Pro to use the same protocol. It identifies SRT as preferable to RTMP where a network is unstable or the broadcaster is moving. The guide also says IRL Pro uses a single connection and does not provide bonding. These are instructions for its stream-key workflow, not evidence of a file player or loop function.
Do not confuse input and output keys
In a cloud relay or encoder arrangement, there can be two separate keys: an input key that sends a feed into the service, and an output key that sends the service’s stream to YouTube. Enhanced IRL explains this distinction in its guide to sending output to a platform. Keep the keys and their destinations clear when configuring any multi-stage setup; a valid input connection alone does not mean YouTube is receiving the intended output.

Can an IRL Pro-related cloud setup stay live indefinitely?
Not on the evidence available for IRLToolkit’s cloud OBS quick-start. It documents an automatic shutdown after 10 minutes idle and a maximum session of 50 hours, and directs users to contact support about 24/7 uptime. Those are vendor-stated operational limits, not a guarantee of seamless continuous streaming. Check the current service terms and restart behavior before relying on it for an always-on channel. IRL Hosting’s pricing page advertises 24/7 streaming and compatibility with IRL Pro, but that alone does not establish that it plays prerecorded files. YouTube’s listing makes Gyre a purpose-built named option for this use case, while StreamNeo offers an upload-and-loop route. These are cloud approaches, not evidence that IRL Pro itself plays files. YouTube identifies Gyre in its encoder listing.
Keeping a long-running YouTube stream healthy
A continuous stream needs more than a successful initial connection. YouTube recommends monitoring audio and video quality, testing the setup, and leaving upload bandwidth headroom. For a 24/7 plan, also check session caps, idle shutdowns, reconnection behavior, and whether someone must restart the stream. - Confirm the playback source: establish whether the service accepts uploaded or stored video files and loops them, rather than only forwarding a live encoder feed.
- Check continuity terms: look for session maximums, idle timeouts, reconnect behavior, and restart requirements.
- Verify the YouTube output: use the correct server URL and stream key, then confirm the stream appears in YouTube Studio and monitor audio and video.
- Test before relying on it: check the network and stream under realistic conditions and retain upload headroom.
- Review rights and channel policies: make sure you have rights to the video and audio and that the planned stream complies with YouTube’s current rules. A technical ability to loop content does not establish permission to broadcast it.
