That is above an even 1.0 ratio, but whether it is “good” depends on the game, mode, stat rules, and players you compare it with. The number alone does not establish a rank or percentile.
What does a 1.55 K/D mean?
K/D is calculated by dividing kills by deaths. For example, 170 kills divided by 110 deaths is about 1.545, which may display as 1.55. That example shows the arithmetic, not a performance benchmark. A ratio of 1.55 means your recorded kills are about 1.55 times your recorded deaths over the period covered by the statistic.
Games do not necessarily define these stats identically. Check whether the game counts kills or eliminations and how it handles assists, leaving a match, or other situations. How can you tell whether 1.55 is good?
Compare like with like
Compare your ratio with players in the same game and mode, using the same stat definition. A figure from one game or mode cannot automatically be judged against another.

Consider how much play it represents
A ratio based on a small number of matches may tell you less than one built from a long record. Check the period or match count behind the displayed stat before drawing a strong conclusion.
Look beyond kills and deaths
K/D does not capture every part of performance. In objective-focused modes, objectives and match outcomes matter alongside kills and deaths; a player can contribute in ways the ratio does not show.

Does 1.55 mean you are above average?
Not on its own. The sources available do not establish a representative distribution for an unspecified game, so there is no sound basis here for assigning 1.55 a percentile or calling it above average. A Warzone Reddit post asks what others think of a 1.55 K/D, but replies are personal opinions rather than a representative benchmark: “KD RATIO let me hear your thoughts”.
