Cristiano Ronaldo is a playable fighter in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, SNK’s fighting game. The game launched on April 24, 2025, and Ronaldo’s story content was added in a July 15, 2025 update.
How to play as Ronaldo
SNK announced Ronaldo as a character on March 27, 2025, then included him among the fighters in its launch announcement on April 24. SNK says players must connect to the internet and update the game to play with all characters. SNK’s launch announcement

Ronaldo’s story content
An update announced by SNK on July 11, 2025, and scheduled for July 15, added Ronaldo’s story to Arcade Mode and Episodes of South Town (EOST), which SNK describes as a single-player RPG mode. The story follows Ronaldo’s visit to South Town as he works to improve his skills. Is Ronaldo a separate purchase?
SNK’s announcements establish that Ronaldo is a game character and that his story content arrived through an update. They do not establish that he is sold as a standalone character DLC, so check the listing for your platform and edition rather than assuming a separate purchase is required.
