1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsNo. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass include the standard EA Play membership, but neither includes EA Play Pro. EA Play Pro is a separate subscription for Windows PC, purchased through the EA app, and it is not available on Xbox consoles.
What Game Pass includes
With a qualifying Game Pass plan, standard EA Play generally includes:
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
- Access to EA’s standard Play List, while games remain in the catalogue.
- Up to 10-hour trials of selected new releases.
- Member-only in-game rewards.
- A 10% discount on eligible EA digital purchases, subject to exclusions and terms.
This is not ownership. Access normally ends when the qualifying subscription ends or when a game leaves the relevant catalogue. Availability varies by region, platform, plan, and time.

Which Game Pass plans include EA Play?
For the United States, the current Xbox plan configuration identifies these qualifying subscriptions:
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: Includes EA Play on Xbox and Windows PC.
- PC Game Pass: Includes EA Play on Windows PC.
The current Xbox storefront does not list EA Play as a benefit of the lower-priced Essential or Premium plans. EA’s support documentation still refers to older plan names such as Core and Standard, so plan labels can differ between support pages and the live Xbox storefront. The safest rule is to check that the plan explicitly lists EA Play before subscribing.
Plan benefits and prices can change by market. See the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate page and PC Game Pass page for current availability.

How to use EA Play with Game Pass on PC
PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate members generally need both the Xbox app and the EA app:
- Install the Xbox app on a compatible Windows PC and sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the qualifying Game Pass subscription.
- Choose an EA Play game from the Game Pass catalogue.
- When prompted, install or open the EA app.
- Sign in to an EA account.
- Link the EA account to the Microsoft/Xbox account when prompted.
- Download and launch the game through the EA app.
The PC Game Pass page lists Windows 10 or Windows 11, version 22H2 or higher, as the operating-system requirement. Account prompts can vary, but launching an EA title from the Xbox app is the normal way to begin the linking process.
Can you use EA Play Pro on Xbox?
No. EA Play Pro is provided through the EA app on PC and is not offered on Xbox. Buying EA Play Pro separately will not unlock its premium editions or day-one benefits on an Xbox console, and a Pro membership cannot be transferred to Xbox.

How much do the subscriptions cost?
The following were the US price signals shown on EA and Xbox pages on August 18, 2026:
Recommended Free Tools
- EA Play: $5.99 per month or $39.99 per year.
- EA Play Pro: $16.99 per month or $119.99 per year.
- PC Game Pass: $13.99 per month.
- Game Pass Ultimate: $22.99 per month.
These are recurring subscription prices and can change with taxes, promotions, region, or billing updates. EA’s FAQ has displayed an inconsistent annual EA Play Pro figure in different sections, so confirm the amount shown at checkout; the $119.99 annual figure above is from EA’s current membership page.
Which subscription fits?
- Choose Game Pass Ultimate if you use both Xbox and PC and want standard EA Play alongside the broader Game Pass library, online console multiplayer, and cloud gaming.
- Choose PC Game Pass if you play on Windows PC, want standard EA Play, and also want the PC Game Pass catalogue.
- Choose EA Play separately if you mainly want EA’s standard catalogue, trials, rewards, and discount without the wider Game Pass library.
- Choose EA Play Pro separately if you play on PC and specifically want selected premium editions or selected EA releases on day one.
For an Xbox-only player, EA Play Pro is not an alternative because it does not work on the console. For a PC player who wants both the broader Game Pass catalogue and Pro-only EA benefits, the relevant comparison is PC Game Pass plus a separate EA Play Pro subscription—not Game Pass alone.

If EA Play is missing from your Game Pass account
Check these issues in order:
- Confirm that your plan is Ultimate or PC Game Pass, rather than a tier that does not list EA Play.
- Verify that the Xbox app is signed in to the Microsoft account holding the subscription.
- Install the EA app and sign in to the correct EA account.
- Complete the Microsoft/Xbox and EA account-linking process.
- Make sure you are not trying to access a Pro-only edition or feature through standard EA Play.
- Check the game’s regional, platform, and catalogue availability.
- On PC, confirm that Windows meets the stated version requirement.
Some games, editions, downloadable content, and add-ons may require separate purchases even when a related title is available through EA Play or Game Pass.
