Internet connection and PS Plus: two different requirements

Choose Digital Deluxe only for its specific bonuses
The Deluxe upgrade is rational when the extra credits, special Toyota GR Yaris, 30 avatars, and soundtrack have clear value to you. It is not the right choice merely because it sounds like a more complete game; the evidence describes bonuses, not a larger campaign or exclusive core mode.
Add Power Pack when endurance racing is the point
Power Pack earns its price for players who want 24-hour endurance events, 50 races organized into 20 themes, and full practice, qualifying, and race sessions. The official wording is unusually important here: offline access is limited to Arcade Mode. Someone with no reliable internet connection should not treat GT7 as a conventional offline career game. Likewise, an arcade-racing fan may find the collecting, tuning, and structured learning systems more demanding than expected.
Optional VR2 support
PlayStation VR2 is optional for GT7 generally. You do not need the headset to play the standard PS5 game, campaign, or ordinary races. You do need PlayStation VR2 to experience the game’s VR features. Consider it an accessory decision after choosing the game, not a prerequisite for buying the PS5 edition.
