As of October 7, 2026, Rockstar has not confirmed a PC version or PC release route for Grand Theft Auto VI. Its announced November 19, 2026 release is for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That means a PC launch is unconfirmed—not that Rockstar has ruled out a PC version later.
When is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Rockstar has not announced a PC release date. Its August 27, 2026 announcement says, “Grand Theft Auto VI is coming November 19 to PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S.” The announcement also says its extended look was captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5.

Rockstar’s platform and editions FAQ, updated August 18, 2026, identifies PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for pre-orders. The Rockstar Store listing also gives November 19, 2026 as the release date and presents a physical code-in-box version. Neither reviewed page lists a PC edition or PC purchase route.
Does “not confirmed” mean GTA 6 will never come to PC?
No. It means Rockstar’s reviewed official announcements and product pages do not currently confirm a PC version, date, or way to buy the game for PC. The absence of a PC listing on those pages is not proof that a PC version will never be released.

There is no official PC date or estimate in these announcements. Treat any specific date or claim about a PC launch as speculation unless Rockstar confirms it. Platform details can change, so check Rockstar’s announcement and support pages for updates.
What can players buy or pre-order now?
Rockstar’s announced pre-orders are for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Its FAQ lists Standard and Ultimate editions, plus an Ultimate Edition upgrade for Standard Edition owners. The upgrade is available through PlayStation or Microsoft stores after redeeming the Standard Edition code; these edition details do not establish a PC edition.

Rockstar describes the physical edition as a code in a box for digital download; it does not include a disc. For regional code restrictions, the support FAQ advises buying from a retailer in the country associated with the platform account. Check the current FAQ for market-specific terms.
