No Xbox release has been announced in the official sources reviewed as of October 8, 2026. HoYoverse’s published platform list does not include Xbox, and no Xbox release date is confirmed. That does not rule out a future port; it means there is no official Xbox launch to plan around right now.
Is Honkai: Star Rail available on Xbox?
HoYoverse’s May 2025 announcement said “Honkai: Star Rail is now available on PC, iOS, Android, Epic Games Store, and PS5”. Xbox is not among the platforms named. Because that announcement is from May 2025, it is best read as the publisher’s stated platform lineup at that time, rather than a guarantee that availability can never change.
HoYoverse’s cross-platform progression guidance also lists PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation for Honkai: Star Rail; it does not list Xbox. The same page mentions Xbox in connection with other HoYoverse games, including Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero, but those references do not establish Xbox support for Honkai: Star Rail. To load progression across the listed platforms, HoYoverse instructs players to sign in with the same HoYoverse credentials.
Does Xbox controller support mean it works on an Xbox console?
No. HoYoverse’s support article, updated October 8, 2025, says “Controller support is currently available only on PC.” It lists Xbox and Xbox Elite wireless controllers as supported PC controllers. That means an Xbox controller can be used on a PC for the game according to the support page; it does not mean the game is available on Xbox consoles.

Is an Xbox version coming, and when?
As of October 8, 2026, the official sources reviewed do not announce an Xbox version in development or give a release date. HoYoverse’s news index includes a September 27, 2026 announcement for Version 4.6, but that item concerns an ongoing game update, not Xbox availability: HoYoverse news index item.
No confirmed date is therefore available. The absence of an announcement in these sources cannot prove that HoYoverse will never make a port, so treat claims about a launch window as speculation unless HoYoverse or Xbox announces one. For changes after this date, check HoYoverse’s official news and Xbox’s official game listings.

Where can you play it now?
HoYoverse’s cited platform announcement names PC, iOS, Android, Epic Games Store, and PS5. The game’s Epic Games Store FAQ describes it as free-to-play with optional in-game purchases: Epic Games Store FAQ. The cited platform and progression information does not establish an Xbox version or Xbox account progression for Honkai: Star Rail.
