Not as a confirmed return in a new sequel. The official announcement is for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4, titled The Culling Game Part 2. In the story, characters seek a way to revive Gojo, but that goal is not confirmation that he has returned. A separate project, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, is a near-future manga spinoff—not the announced anime season.
What has actually been announced?
The official June 19, 2026 announcement identifies the fourth TV anime season as The Culling Game Part 2 and announces a teaser PV. It names Takeru Sato as the new director. The announcement does not give a premiere date or release window, so there is no confirmed timing to report from it.

This is an anime adaptation continuing the Culling Game story, not an announcement that the original manga serialization has resumed or that a new Gojo-led manga sequel is underway.
Why is Gojo connected to the Culling Game?
The official story synopsis says characters enter the colonies seeking a way to revive Gojo and rescue Tsumiki Fushiguro. It identifies Hana Kurusu, known as “Angel,” as possessing a technique that can extinguish cursed techniques and as key to the revival effort.

That describes what characters are trying to accomplish in the story. It does not confirm the attempt succeeds, or that Gojo has already returned in a new series. The distinction matters: a plot objective is not the same thing as an announcement of a character’s return.
How does Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo fit in?
Modulo is a separate near-future manga spinoff written by Gege Akutami and illustrated by Yuji Iwasaki. The official series page says it began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2025 and that all three collected volumes have been released. It is not the title of Season 4, and the official description does not present it as a Gojo-return announcement.

Did the original Jujutsu Kaisen manga end?
Yes. The official series page dates the manga’s Weekly Shonen Jump serialization from March 2018 to its conclusion in September 2024, after six and a half years. The franchise has continued with anime and spinoff projects, but those do not change the end date of the original manga.

What to watch for next
The confirmed update is the anime season announcement; it does not settle when episodes will premiere or whether Gojo’s revival succeeds. For scheduling, check the official announcement and subsequent official news rather than treating a release window or character return as confirmed.
