No—Marvel’s Midnight Suns is not currently free on Epic Games. Epic’s listing showed the Windows game as a paid title when checked on October 8, 2026; its displayed $8.99 sale was marked to end September 17, 2026, a date that has passed. The last confirmed Epic giveaway ran June 6–13, 2024.
Can you still claim Marvel’s Midnight Suns for free on Epic?
No. Epic’s Windows listing showed a paid offer rather than a free claim on October 8, 2026. The listing displayed $8.99 and a September 17, 2026 sale end date, so that price is no longer a reliable indication of what the game costs today. Check the listing directly for its current price and any new promotion.

The most recent confirmed Epic free claim window in the available official record was June 6–13, 2024, as announced by Epic Games. That offer has expired; it does not make the game free now.

Epic says free games are available for a limited time and must be claimed before the offer ends. Its weekly giveaway guidance says offers rotate after seven days, and a game added to your library remains there permanently even if you do not download it immediately. Epic also says an Epic account with two-factor authentication enabled is required for weekly giveaways. These are general Epic policies; check the terms on an individual offer rather than assuming every past promotion used identical timing.

Epic’s Player Support puts the library rule plainly: “Once claimed, the game is yours permanently – even if you don’t download it right away.” See its answer about missed free games for the general policy. A giveaway that has ended cannot ordinarily be claimed retroactively as free.
Does an Epic claim work on PlayStation or Xbox?
No console entitlement is established by claiming the Epic listing. Epic’s product page is for Windows, while publisher Take-Two identifies PlayStation and Xbox versions as separate releases. Treat the Epic claim as an Epic storefront entitlement, not a copy that transfers to a console.

If you missed the giveaway and want to play on console, look for the exact PlayStation or Xbox edition through the relevant store or a physical retailer. Take-Two describes physical retail and digital downloads as product formats, but current retailer stock and prices vary; verify the platform and edition before buying. A physical console copy is an option to investigate, not a confirmed current deal.

What kind of game is Marvel’s Midnight Suns?
Epic describes it as a single-player tactical RPG and strategy game developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K. You play as the customizable Hunter, leading Marvel heroes through turn-based missions where abilities are represented by cards. Between missions, the Abbey acts as a hub for exploration, upgrades, and building relationships with the team. That mix means it is not only a sequence of tactical battles: character interactions and activity at the Abbey are part of the experience.
