What are P.T. and Silent Hills?
P.T. was a free playable teaser that revealed Silent Hills, a planned full game associated with Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro. They are not interchangeable: P.T. was the teaser, while Silent Hills was the game it was intended to introduce. Contemporary reporting said Silent Hills was canceled and P.T. was removed from the PlayStation Network Store. The sources reviewed do not establish an official current way to download or play P.T;. Which Silent Hill projects are prompting comeback talk?
Silent Hill 2 remake
Konami announced a remake of Silent Hill 2 for PlayStation 5 and Steam. It is a separate Konami game—not P.T., not Silent Hills, and not a return of Kojima’s canceled project. Konami’s Silent Hill 2 announcement.
Silent Hill: Townfall
Konami has also announced Silent Hill: Townfall as another forthcoming entry in the franchise. Its announcement signals activity in Silent Hill as a series, but does not confirm that P.T. or Silent Hills is coming back.
