TennoCon 2025’s biggest Warframe reveal was The Old Peace, a major narrative chapter announced for 2025 that revisits the Sentients, the Orokin and a conflict involving Dax Anarchs. Digital Extremes also announced its companion story The Devil’s Triad, Operator and Focus changes, a separate Fall update, and a longer-term story arc toward Tau in 2026. Those dates describe the studio’s plans when it made the announcements in July 2025—not confirmation of current release status.
Digital Extremes held its tenth annual TennoCon in London, Ontario, on July 18–19, 2025, with in-person programming, livestreams and in-game participation. Its July 19 official recap covered the reveals, while a July 24 press release supplied additional story and roadmap details. Here is what the studio announced, organized by what each item meant for Warframe and its wider community.
What is The Old Peace in Warframe?
The Old Peace was presented as Warframe’s next major cinematic update, planned for 2025. It takes players into a period of unification between the Sentients and the Orokin, while Dax Anarchs threaten that order. The story centers on reliving memories and fighting alongside Adis, a Sentient ally and childhood friend, with conflict unfolding on the Perita moon. The announcement framed the chapter as a return to a consequential period in Warframe’s history, rather than simply a new mission or isolated character release.
Digital Extremes also revealed a new enemy faction for the chapter. The announcement did not provide a full faction breakdown or detailed mechanics; it said more about some features, including Tauron Focus, would come in future Devstreams.
What is The Devil’s Triad?
The Devil’s Triad is a linked side story, distinct from the main The Old Peace chapter. It introduces Uriel, a new devil-themed Warframe, alongside two Protoframes: Father Lyon Allard, associated with Harrow, and Marie Leroux, associated with Wisp. The announcements established the characters and connection to the broader story, but did not lay out the side story’s full plot or gameplay in detail.
What Operator and Focus changes were announced?
Remastered Operators
Digital Extremes announced remastered Operator character models and cosmetic assets. The recap described updated character presentation; the announcement did not specify a release date or enumerate every affected appearance.
Tauron Focus expansion
The planned Tauron Focus expansion would add a new ultimate ability for the Operator. The studio did not give further ability details in the event announcements, pointing instead to future Devstreams.
Music tied to the chapter
“Lullaby of the Manifold” was identified as a song associated with The Old Peace. The recap said it was available through Warframe’s official YouTube channel and streaming platforms; the July 24 press release said it would reach most major music platforms from July 21, 2025.

What else was planned for Warframe in Fall 2025?
Alongside The Old Peace, Digital Extremes announced a separate, then-untitled Fall 2025 update. Its planned contents were:
- A new Warframe, described in the press release as the game’s 62nd.
- An Oberon rework.
- The Teacher, a tutorial quest intended to teach fundamentals of Warframe’s Mod system. The studio credited Sumo Digital’s collaboration on the quest.
- New customizations, including a Lavos Deluxe skin.
These were roadmap announcements made in July 2025, not confirmation that the features are currently available.
What other Warframe releases were on the roadmap?
Caliban Prime Access
Caliban Prime Access was announced as an upcoming release with signature weapons and customizations. The TennoCon announcements do not establish its present availability.
Warframe on Android
Digital Extremes announced a closed beta for Warframe on Android in Fall 2025. The announcement described a planned beta, not a general release, and does not establish the game’s current Android status.

Tau in 2026
The studio pointed to Tau as the next longer-range narrative destination, labeling it for 2026 and presenting The Old Peace as setting the stage for that voyage into new worlds. This was the announced plan at TennoCon 2025; the July event sources do not establish whether that timing or status later changed.

Warframe x Starfinder: Operation Orias
Digital Extremes announced Warframe x Starfinder: Operation Orias, a tabletop collaboration with Paizo, for October 2025. The publisher directed readers to Paizo for purchase details covering physical and digital editions. Current listings, stock and prices are not established by the event announcement.
Soulframe
TennoCon included Soulframe Preludes gameplay and a development update. The recap said the event’s special instant-access period had ended and that invitations would continue weekly; it should not be read as an offer of currently open event access.
Community programming, rewards and merchandise
The convention featured a TennoConcert, panels, cosplay, and livestream programming. Before the event, Digital Extremes described four individual Warframe drops: the Ava-Clem Community Glyph and Flare Varleon & Lizzie Poster for Friday programming, then the Naktavyre Armor Set and Valkyr Prime for Saturday panels and TennoLive. Claiming them depended on account-linking and platform conditions. These were limited July 2025 event rewards, not current offers.

Charitable donations
Digital Extremes said it donated $100,000 to Make-A-Wish Canada and $100,000 to the Canadian Mental Health Association in 2025.
What TennoCon 2025 established—and what it did not
The company described Warframe as having more than 85 million players in its July 2025 press release. That is Digital Extremes’ stated player count, not an independently audited figure for active players. The reviewed event sources give no precise attendance total: the press release uses “thousands” for attendees and “millions” for livestream viewers without specifying exact numbers.
Rebecca Ford, Warframe’s Creative Director, said in the July 24 press release: “Our community is everything to us; we wouldn’t be here without them.”
