Yes. Phantom Blade Zero is announced for PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, alongside PlayStation 5. S-GAME and the official PlayStation page list October 29, 2026, while Steam currently shows October 28, 2026. S-GAME has also published minimum, recommended, ray-tracing and path-tracing PC specifications.

The baseline requirements call for Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), 16 GB of RAM, DirectX 12, an SSD and at least a GTX 1660 or Radeon RX 5500 XT. The advertised 1080p/30 and 1440p/60 targets assume upscaling is enabled, so they are publisher targets rather than independent performance guarantees.

Phantom Blade Zero PC release: what has been announced

S-GAME’s global-platform announcement on December 12, 2025 named three launch platforms: PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store. That means the PC version is not a rumor or an unofficial port; it is an announced release for both major PC storefronts. The official PlayStation listing confirms the PS5 edition.

The reviewed announcements do not list Xbox consoles or Nintendo Switch. That is all the available platform information establishes: no version for either system has been announced in those materials. It does not prove that a later Xbox or Switch edition will never exist, so treat those platforms as unconfirmed rather than ruled out permanently.

No other PC launcher is identified in the platform announcement. If you are choosing where to buy, the confirmed options are Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Release date: October 29 or October 28, 2026?

The date currently requires a qualification because the official pages do not agree on the calendar day. On June 2, 2026, S-GAME founder and CEO Soulframe Liang wrote: “Phantom Blade Zero will now launch on October 29, 2026, moved from its previous date of September 9, 2026.” S-GAME’s current game homepage and the official PlayStation page also show October 29, 2026.

Steam’s product listing displays October 28, 2026. The available announcements do not explain whether that one-day difference reflects time-zone handling, a storefront scheduling convention or an unresolved listing error. Until S-GAME or the store clarifies it, use October 29 as the date shown by S-GAME and PlayStation, while checking your chosen storefront for its local countdown.

What changed from the earlier date?

The June 2 announcement explicitly says the game moved from September 9, 2026, to October 29, 2026. The change is therefore an announced delay, not a launch-window rumor. The one-day Steam discrepancy should not be mistaken for a second delay or an earlier worldwide launch; no source reviewed explains it that way.

Published PC requirements at a glance

S-GAME published the specifications on August 12, 2026. The table below reproduces the stated operating system, processor, graphics card, memory, API, storage requirement and performance target. The resolution and frame-rate figures in every listed target assume upscaling is enabled.

Tier Operating system Processor Graphics card Memory, API and storage Stated target
Minimum Windows 10/11 64-bit Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB 16GB RAM; DirectX 12; SSD required 1080p at 30 FPS, with upscaling enabled
Recommended Windows 10/11 64-bit Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB 16GB RAM; DirectX 12; SSD required 1440p at 60 FPS, with upscaling enabled
Ray tracing recommended Not separately specified Not separately specified NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB No separate RAM, API or storage details stated 1080p at 60 FPS, with upscaling enabled
Path tracing recommended Not separately specified Not separately specified NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB No separate RAM, API or storage details stated 2160p at 60 FPS, with upscaling enabled

These are publisher requirements and targets, not independent benchmark results. S-GAME does not promise that every computer with the listed parts will deliver the target in every scene, nor does the announcement report test conditions, graphics presets or the specific upscaling mode used.

How to interpret the minimum specification

CPU: Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600

The minimum processor choices are an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600. A processor that falls below both listed classes is outside the published minimum, even if its model number looks newer. Laptop chips, low-power desktop parts and heavily throttled systems can behave differently from their desktop counterparts, so compare the exact processor in your machine rather than relying on a family name alone.

  • DPx3/HDMI 2.1 four digital I/O interfaces, support 8K resolution output, multi monitors to enjoy wider audio and video entertainment.

GPU and video memory: GTX 1660 6GB or RX 5500 XT 8GB

The minimum graphics options are a GeForce GTX 1660 with 6GB of VRAM or a Radeon RX 5500 XT with 8GB. The VRAM figures are part of the specification: a card with a similar general performance level but less available video memory is not an exact match. Check the full model and memory amount in your system information, particularly when a product line contains several variants.

16GB RAM, DirectX 12 and an SSD

Sixteen gigabytes of system memory, DirectX 12 support and an SSD are all required in the minimum tier. The announcement does not state how much free SSD space the game needs, and it does not identify a particular SSD model or interface. Do not infer a capacity from the 16GB RAM figure or reserve an arbitrary amount based on an unrelated game; wait for an installer requirement before making a storage purchase.

What the recommended specification is intended to deliver

1440p at 60 FPS, with upscaling

S-GAME pairs the recommended tier with a 1440p, 60-FPS target and explicitly says upscaling is enabled. The listed processors are an Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X. The listed graphics cards are a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB or a Radeon RX 6700 XT with 12GB. Both systems still require 16GB of RAM, DirectX 12 and an SSD under the published baseline requirements.

“Recommended” therefore has a precise meaning here: it is the hardware tier S-GAME associates with its 1440p/60 target under the stated upscaling condition. It is not a claim that native 1440p rendering, maximum settings or ray tracing will maintain 60 FPS on those cards.

Comparing a potential upgrade

When your PC is close to the recommended tier, compare the graphics card’s exact model and VRAM first, then the processor, rather than using a single overall score. A system may meet the GPU requirement but miss the CPU requirement, or meet both while lacking an SSD. The published target also changes if you intend to disable upscaling or enable advanced lighting features, because those configurations are not represented by the baseline 1440p/60 statement.

Ray tracing and path tracing targets are separate tiers

S-GAME lists two feature-specific graphics targets instead of folding them into the ordinary recommended row. The ray-tracing recommendation names an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 with 8GB and targets 1080p at 60 FPS with upscaling enabled. The path-tracing recommendation names an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 with 16GB and targets 2160p at 60 FPS with upscaling enabled.

Feature target Named GPU VRAM Resolution and frame-rate target Other details
Ray tracing GeForce RTX 5060 8GB 1080p / 60 FPS, upscaling enabled CPU, RAM, API and storage are not separately specified
Path tracing GeForce RTX 5080 16GB 2160p / 60 FPS, upscaling enabled CPU, RAM, API and storage are not separately specified

Because no separate processor, RAM or storage values are supplied for these rows, there is no complete standalone “ray tracing PC requirement” or “path tracing PC requirement” beyond the named GPU and target. The safest reading is that the baseline Windows, DirectX 12, 16GB RAM and SSD requirements still matter, while the feature tiers identify the graphics hardware S-GAME associates with those effects.

Upscaling is part of every published performance target

Upscaling renders the game internally at a lower resolution and reconstructs a higher-resolution image. S-GAME includes it in the wording for the 1080p/30 minimum target, the 1440p/60 recommended target, the 1080p/60 ray-tracing target and the 2160p/60 path-tracing target. Consequently, none of those figures should be read as native-resolution guarantees.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The announcement does not identify the upscaling technology, quality preset, internal resolution, frame-generation setting or graphics preset used to produce the figures. Those omissions matter when you compare the target with your own preferences. If you want native rendering, a different upscaler mode or maximum settings, the published table does not provide a corresponding performance promise.

Check your PC before launch

  1. Record the exact operating system. Confirm that Windows is a 64-bit installation of Windows 10 or Windows 11.
  2. Identify the CPU model. Use the complete model name and compare it with the Core i7-8700K/Ryzen 5 3600 minimum or the Core i5-10600K/Ryzen 5 5600X recommended choices.
  3. Identify the GPU and VRAM. Verify whether the card is at least one of the listed models and whether its memory matches the stated 6GB, 8GB or 12GB specification.
  4. Check system memory. Both baseline tiers list 16GB of RAM.
  5. Confirm DirectX 12 capability. The minimum and recommended rows require DirectX 12.
  6. Verify the installation drive. The game requires an SSD. The announcement does not state a free-space capacity, so leave room according to the eventual store or installer information rather than guessing a number.
  7. Choose your intended target. Decide whether you are aiming for 1080p/30, 1440p/60, ray-traced 1080p/60 or path-traced 2160p/60, and remember that every published target assumes upscaling.

Common mismatches and what they mean

“My card has the right VRAM but a different model.”

VRAM alone does not establish equivalence. The published list names complete GPU models, so a different card should be treated as unverified until independent testing or a later official update provides more information.

“I have 16GB RAM, but the game is on a hard drive.”

That system does not meet the stated storage requirement. S-GAME specifies an SSD for both minimum and recommended tiers; the announcement gives no capacity figure or model requirement.

“My PC meets recommended, but I want 4K path tracing.”

The ordinary recommended row targets 1440p/60 with upscaling and names an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT. The separate path-tracing row names an RTX 5080 16GB for 2160p/60 with upscaling. Meeting the former does not establish that the latter target is achievable.

“The game is listed for October 28 on Steam.”

That date conflicts with the October 29 date on S-GAME’s homepage, the PlayStation page and Liang’s June 2 announcement. Check the storefront’s local release countdown and any later notice from S-GAME before scheduling time off or a preload.

What is still unknown

  • The required SSD capacity or free-space figure.
  • Separate RAM, CPU and storage specifications for ray tracing and path tracing.
  • The graphics presets, upscaler technology and internal resolutions used for the stated targets.
  • Independent benchmarks showing performance across other CPUs and GPUs.
  • Whether Xbox or Nintendo Switch versions will be announced later.
  • The reason Steam displays October 28 while S-GAME and PlayStation display October 29, 2026.

Until those details are published, avoid treating the table as a guarantee for every quality setting or as a complete buying guide. It is the official hardware baseline and target information available from S-GAME as of its August 12, 2026 requirements announcement.

Bottom line for PC players

Phantom Blade Zero is coming to PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, with PlayStation 5 also confirmed. Plan around October 29, 2026 according to S-GAME and PlayStation, but note Steam’s October 28 listing. For the minimum target, you need a GTX 1660 6GB or RX 5500 XT 8GB-class GPU, an i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600-class CPU, 16GB RAM, DirectX 12, Windows 10/11 64-bit and an SSD. S-GAME’s recommended 1440p/60 tier uses an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT and also assumes upscaling. Ray tracing and path tracing are separate targets requiring the named RTX 5060 and RTX 5080 GPUs respectively.
