No. Princess Peach is not Bowser Jr.’s mother. In Super Mario Sunshine, Bowser falsely tells Jr. that Peach is his mother; the game’s ending makes clear that Jr. knows the story is untrue. The game does not reveal who his mother is, and Shigeru Miyamoto later said that her identity was unknown.
Why does Bowser Jr. call Peach “Mama Peach”?
In Super Mario Sunshine, Bowser Jr. appears as Shadow Mario and acts on the story Bowser has told him: Peach is his mother, and Mario has taken her. Jr.’s belief explains why he targets Mario and treats Peach as “Mama Peach” during the story. It is a deception within the plot, not confirmation of their parentage.

The game dialogue transcript records Bowser telling Jr. that Peach is his mother and that Mario kidnapped her.
What does the ending reveal?
Near the end, Bowser begins to tell Jr. something difficult about Peach: “Jr., I’ve got something…difficult…to tell you about Princess Peach…” Jr. answers: “I know she’s not really my Mama…” The exchange shows that he understands Peach is not actually his mother; it does not name his real mother.

Who is Bowser Jr.’s mother?
Her identity has not been established. In a 2015 interview republished by Game Informer, Shigeru Miyamoto said, “Bowser’s only child is Bowser Jr., and we do not know who the mother is.” That creator comment supports the game’s unresolved ending: Peach is not the answer, and no other mother is identified there.
Was Miyamoto’s “I am Bowser Jr.’s mother” answer serious?
No. A GameSpot report from September 10, 2015 covered a Nintendo UK myth-busting video in which the line was a joke. It should not be treated as a literal continuity reveal or as an answer to the character’s parentage.
