Is Quiplash free on Steam?
No. The U.S. Steam listing showed the original Quiplash at $5.49, down from $9.99, with the promotion ending October 8. That is a dated sale offer, not a free-to-play listing; the price or promotion may have changed since it was checked. Check the Steam listing for the current price and sale status in your region.

What you get with the original Quiplash
Quiplash is a party game built around answering prompts and voting between competing responses. Jackbox lists support for 3–8 players and an audience of up to 10,000 participants. The audience limit is a game specification, not a measure of how many people are currently playing.

- For 1-8 players, plus a participating Audience of up to 10,000!
- Your phones or tablets are your controllers!
- 5 fun party games included:
- Quiplash 2 (3-8 players)
- Trivia Murder Party (1-8 players)
The official page lists Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, Apple TV and iPad, Amazon Fire TV, and Humble Bundle among the platform options. These are platform-specific listings, not one universal purchase; check the relevant store for availability and regional pricing. The Amazon Fire TV entry is a digital platform purchase listing, not a physical Amazon retail edition.
Are other Jackbox games discounted?
Steam search results surfaced discounts on other Jackbox games and Party Packs, but they do not establish a complete or stable list of current offers. Sale prices and deadlines are time-sensitive. Before buying, verify each game on its own store page and check its title, platform, region, price, discount, and expiry date. Steam’s Jackbox search results can help locate listings, but a search result alone is not confirmation that a particular deal remains active.
Quiplash versus Quiplash 3 in Party Pack 7
If you are considering a physical Jackbox product, distinguish the original Quiplash from Quiplash 3. Jackbox announced physical editions of The Jackbox Party Pack 7 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4, with the PS4 edition playable on PS5. The pack includes Quiplash 3, not the original game.
The Jackbox Party Pack 7 is a collection of five games, not a physical copy of standalone Quiplash. Jackbox says the games support 2–8 players, depending on the game, and use phones or tablets as controllers. Its physical-edition announcement confirms the editions existed, but does not establish current retailer stock. Check the seller’s listing for the exact platform and availability.

How to compare the offers before you buy
- Match the game: Confirm whether the listing is for original Quiplash, Quiplash 3, or a Party Pack containing other games.
- Match the platform and region: Steam, consoles, Apple TV or iPad, and Amazon Fire TV can have different listings and prices. Check the storefront you will actually use.
- Check the live offer: Confirm the current price, discount, and end date on the individual store page; search results may be stale.
- Compare standalone with bundle: A Party Pack includes several games, so its value depends on whether you want the rest of the collection as well as the platform edition.
- Confirm physical versus digital: The documented physical product is The Jackbox Party Pack 7; the official Quiplash page lists platform purchase options for the standalone game.
Jackbox’s shop lists standalone games and bundles and points merchandise shoppers to The Yetee. The shop information does not establish current stock at other retailers.
