Who is the president Leon shoots in Resident Evil 6?
He is Adam Benford, the U.S. president in the game’s story. Capcom’s 2012 announcement of Resident Evil 6 says Benford recruited Leon Kennedy into government service and later became president. Capcom’s Adam Benford character profile also describes Benford as Leon’s close friend and says he recruited Leon after the Raccoon City incident.

Who is Ashley Graham’s father?
Ashley is the daughter of President Graham, not Adam Benford. Capcom’s retrospective on Leon’s story identifies Ashley as the president’s daughter while separately naming Benford as the president Leon shoots. Capcom’s Leon S. Kennedy profile places Ashley’s kidnapping in 2006 and calls her President Graham’s daughter.
Why is it easy to mix them up?
Both characters are described as U.S. presidents in different parts of Leon’s story. Ashley’s father is President Graham, connected to an earlier mission; Adam Benford is the president in Resident Evil 6. The two references do not make Benford Ashley’s father.
