Yes, but there is no single Mii limit: the number depends on whether you mean a console’s stored Miis, a Wii Remote’s transfer capacity, a Nintendo Account profile, or a particular game. Nintendo’s documented figures range from six Miis on an account profile to 3,000 on Wii U.
How many Miis can you have on each Nintendo system?
| System or context | Documented limit | What it counts |
|---|---|---|
| Wii Mii Plaza | Up to 100 | Miis stored in Mii Plaza |
| Wii Remote | Up to 10 | Miis carried on the remote for transfer to another Wii |
| Wii U | Up to 3,000 | Miis created or received and saved on the system |
| Nintendo 3DS Mii Maker | Up to 100 | Miis registered in Mii Maker |
| Nintendo Account profile | Up to 6 | Miis added to the account profile, not the console’s local Mii list |
Nintendo describes a Mii as a character created from a set of features that can represent someone in compatible games and channels. These figures refer to different storage or account contexts, so they are not interchangeable.
What is the Mii limit on Wii?
Wii Mii Plaza can store up to 100 Mii Characters, according to Nintendo Support. A Wii Remote can carry up to 10 Miis to transfer to another Wii. The remote’s capacity is a transfer allowance, not an additional 10 slots in Mii Plaza.
What is the Mii limit on Wii U and 3DS?
Wii U
Nintendo says a Wii U can save up to 3,000 Mii characters created or received. This is the figure in Nintendo’s Wii U and Nintendo 3DS transfer guidance.

How many Miis can a Nintendo Account have?
A Nintendo Account profile can have up to six Miis added to it, according to Nintendo’s instructions for changing a Nintendo Account Mii. This is an account-profile allowance; it does not describe how many Miis a console can store.

Does Switch have a Mii limit?
Nintendo’s cited Switch support guidance describes ways to use and transfer Miis, but does not state a maximum for the Switch system’s local Mii list. A Mii registered as the owner on an amiibo can be brought to Switch by scanning the amiibo, and Switch consoles can exchange Miis wirelessly. Nintendo also says Miis cannot be brought from Wii U or 3DS to Switch through direct communication or by scanning a QR code. See Nintendo’s Mii transfer guidance.

They may have game-specific rules, but the console and account figures above do not establish a universal limit for every game save. For a particular title, check that game’s manual or support information rather than assuming it uses the full Mii Maker or console capacity.
