No—Valorant does not have a full single-player campaign. You can still play alone to learn the basics and practise in the Range, and Riot documents an optional Bot Training Match. Modes such as Deathmatch, Unrated, and Swiftplay remain multiplayer even if you queue by yourself.
What can you do alone in Valorant?

How to practise solo on PC
- Open the Practice menu. Riot’s PC notes place Basic Training and The Range under Practice.
- Choose Basic Training if you want a guided introduction. New PC players are required to complete it, while current players can access it from Practice.
- Choose The Range for less structured practice. In the Range practice mode, Riot’s Patch 13.05 notes say you can spawn 1, 5, or 10 bots.
Menu options and bot availability can change across platforms and patches, so check the in-game Practice menu on the platform you use.
Does Valorant have bots?
Yes. Riot documents both bots in The Range and an optional Bot Training Match. The scope matters: Riot’s console launch notes describe the Bot Training Match as a full Swift Play match on Haven, with AI-controlled bots and teammates. Riot’s PC notes confirm an optional Bot Training Match for new players but do not give those same format details for PC. That means the console description should not be assumed to apply identically on every platform.
Is Deathmatch single-player if you queue alone?
No. Queueing alone describes how you enter a match, not whether the match is single-player. Deathmatch, Unrated, and Swiftplay are multiplayer experiences; Valorant is presented by Riot as “A 5v5 tactical shooter featuring agents with unique abilities.”

What are Custom Games useful for?
Custom Games can support practice sessions and replay review, but they are still match formats rather than a standalone story or campaign. Riot’s Patch 1.11 notes say Play Out All Rounds was added to make practice sessions easier. Riot’s 2026 Patch 12.00 notes say Custom Swiftplay and Standard matches can be recorded for replay if the party leader opts in.
