Titanfall is still listed for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and players have reported finding occasional matches. Other players report empty matchmaking, so it is not reliably populated. Respawn said in December 2021 that it would keep servers online for existing fans, but that historical commitment is not a guarantee of current uptime or a match at any given time.
Can you still play Titanfall online on Xbox?
Microsoft’s current Xbox Store listing for Titanfall supports Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and advertises online multiplayer for 6–12 players. That figure describes the game’s multiplayer capacity, not how many people are playing now. The listing establishes platform support, not live server health or populated lobbies.

Xbox currently requires an Xbox Game Pass Essential, Premium, or Ultimate subscription for online console multiplayer, according to the store listing. You will also need access to the game itself and an internet connection.
Are Titanfall 1’s Xbox servers still up?
In December 2021, Respawn Entertainment said it would maintain the servers for fans who continued to play after new sales ended. Its statement, reproduced on an EA-hosted forum, was a commitment at that time—not a present-day uptime guarantee.

EA’s general guidance on older games’ online services notes that servers for older titles may be shut down and directs players to its server-status resources. That guidance does not confirm Titanfall’s current Xbox status. The sources available here do not establish an authoritative live server-status page or current lobby telemetry, so it would be inaccurate to say either that the servers are permanently down or that they are always available.
Can you find a match on Xbox today?
Recent community reports are mixed: some Xbox players describe finding occasional games, often in Attrition, while others report empty matchmaking or difficulty finding a server. These are individual experiences, not a representative sample. There is no reliable public Xbox player count or established wait time in the available sources.

- If you can, coordinate with other players or an active community rather than relying on matchmaking to assemble a lobby.
- Consider your region and play time when judging your own results; no sourced comparison establishes which Xbox console or region has the most activity.
Can you still buy Titanfall 1 for Xbox?
EA’s Titanfall product page says the game is unavailable for purchase digitally. EA staff also say that associated DLC is unavailable to accounts that did not already own it, as discussed in this EA forum thread. The cited information does not settle every physical-disc installation scenario or used-disc availability.
A used physical Xbox One copy may be a way to obtain the game, but buying a disc does not guarantee a match or restore access to delisted digital DLC. Before purchasing, check the seller’s disc condition, region, and return terms, and confirm the console and account requirements that apply to you.
