Yes. World War Z: Aftermath supports cross-play between PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, according to Saber Interactive’s official FAQ. Nintendo Switch does not cross-play with other platforms, and the FAQ lists the original World War Z—not Aftermath—for Switch.
Which platforms can play together?
Saber Interactive’s FAQ confirms cross-play for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The supported list spans the named console generations, so players on PS4 and PS5, or Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, are included in the same cross-play support statement.

Does cross-play support the full co-op group?
Yes. Saber’s 2021 launch announcement described co-op for up to four players and cross-play between PC and consoles, explicitly including Steam and Epic Games Store. That announcement is useful for the PC storefront detail; for the current platform list, use the FAQ’s named platforms.
Is cross-platform supported on Nintendo Switch?
No. Saber says there is no cross-play with other platforms on Nintendo Switch. Its FAQ distinguishes the Switch version of the original World War Z from Aftermath, which it lists for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Amazon Luna. Do not assume a Switch player can join an Aftermath cross-play lobby.

Does cross-play mean your progress carries over?
No. Multiplayer compatibility and save portability are separate: Saber says Aftermath does not support cross-progression. Its cross-save instructions describe manual save transfers through PROS, not continuous synchronization.
PROS supports transfers among Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft Store, PS4, PS5, and Amazon Luna. To transfer, select the source and receiving platform and confirm the operation. Keep these limitations in mind:
