That claim is not verified by the current Roblox asset page. The listing credits @lainch4n; it does not identify the uploader as Parry Gripp or as an official Roblox account. It is therefore more accurate to call 152745539 the current Creator Store asset titled “It’s Raining Tacos,” rather than the official Parry Gripp Roblox upload.

Why you may see ID 142376088
142376088 is frequently repeated in older community lists as an “It’s Raining Tacos” or Boombox ID. The current Roblox Creator Store result retrieved for the titled track is 152745539, not 142376088. Treat the older number as potentially outdated rather than as the current official or guaranteed-working ID.
How to use the track in Roblox Studio

- Open your place in Roblox Studio.
- In Explorer, hover over SoundService and click the ⊕ button.
- Choose Sound.
- In Properties, find SoundId.
- Enter
rbxassetid://152745539. - Set Playing to enabled if it should start automatically.
- Set Looped to enabled if it should repeat.
Roblox’s Sound documentation describes this workflow and the rbxassetid://<ID> format.

Background audio versus positional audio
A Sound parented directly under SoundService or Workspace behaves as background audio: its volume and pan do not change based on the listener’s position or rotation.

If you instead parent it to a BasePart, Attachment, or another supported part type, it becomes positional audio. Players hear it according to their distance from the source and the Sound’s roll-off settings. This is appropriate for a radio, speaker, or taco-themed object placed in the map, but players farther away may not hear it.

There is no single Roblox-wide Boombox interface or command for entering song IDs. The experience developer supplies the interface, including the field name and play button.

- Equip or open the game’s Boombox or radio.
- Enter

That sequence is not guaranteed across Roblox. Some experiences do not provide a Boombox at all, while others restrict which audio assets can be played. The ID also is not guaranteed to work in every public Boombox game.

The audio does not play
Confirm that you entered rbxassetid://152745539 in Studio, or the numeric ID 152745539 in a game’s custom Boombox field. An asset can exist while still being deleted, moderated, inaccessible, or otherwise invalid for playback.
It plays for me but not for distant players
Check the Sound’s parent. A Sound attached to a part or attachment is positional, so distance and roll-off affect audibility. For game-wide music, place it directly under SoundService or Workspace.

It plays once and then stops
Enable Looped, or set sound.Looped = true in a script. Without looping, the track ends after one playback.
The game starts silently
Setting SoundId alone does not necessarily start playback. Enable Playing in Properties or call sound:Play() from a script.
The volume is wrong
Adjust the Sound’s Volume property. Roblox allows values from 0 to 10, but volume is multiplicative, so a large increase can make a loud source overwhelming.
The Creator Store page says it is not for sale
The current listing is still accessible, but Roblox marks it as not currently for sale. That status does not by itself prove that the asset is playable in every experience. Playback still depends on the asset being valid and usable by the specific experience.
Quick answer
Use 152745539 for the current Creator Store asset titled “It’s Raining Tacos!” In Studio, use rbxassetid://152745539. Do not assume that 142376088 is the current ID, that the upload is officially from Parry Gripp or Roblox, or that the audio will work in every Boombox game.
