iuiintl.dll is a CorelDRAW(R) application file, not a normal Windows component. Its description is “Corel User Interface,” and the safest fix is to repair or reinstall the exact CorelDRAW installation that needs it.
Do not download a replacement from a random DLL website or copy it into C:WindowsSystem32. A file with the same name may belong to a different CorelDRAW release, language installation, or processor architecture.

What iuiintl.dll does
iuiintl.dll is associated with CorelDRAW and Corel Corporation. Historical CorelDRAW installations placed it in a Corel language and program directory, such as:
Free tools Windows power users keep installed

...Corel Graphics 12LanguagesenProgramsIUIIntl.dll
That location is version-dependent. Every CorelDRAW release does not necessarily use the same folder structure, filename capitalization, language folder, or supporting files.

The file is private to the application. It is not supplied by Windows, DirectX, .NET, or a general Microsoft runtime. Windows normally searches an application’s own directory before its system directories when loading ordinary desktop application files. That is why placing this DLL in System32 or SysWOW64 is not the correct repair.
What the error means
Common Windows loader messages include:
- “The program can’t start because iuiintl.dll is missing from your computer.”
- “iuiintl.dll was not found.”
- “Error loading iuiintl.dll.”
- “The specified module could not be found.”
- “iuiintl.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.”
These messages do not always mean that the named file alone is missing. “The specified module could not be found” can also mean that a dependency required by iuiintl.dll is missing or damaged.
The problem commonly begins after:
- An interrupted CorelDRAW update or installation
- A failed uninstall or reinstall
- Manual deletion or disk cleanup
- Antivirus quarantine
- Moving the CorelDRAW installation folder
- Changing the installed language or optional components
- A Windows upgrade
- A damaged CorelDRAW program directory
- A mismatched DLL copied from another CorelDRAW version
Start with the Corel repair option. It restores application files without requiring you to identify the correct DLL manually.

Time needed: 10–20 minutes, plus a restart
- Close CorelDRAW and every other Corel application.
- Press Windows key + R.
- Type:
text
appwiz.cpl
- Press Enter.
- In Programs and Features, select CorelDRAW or CorelDRAW Graphics Suite.
- Select Uninstall/Change, Change, or Modify, depending on the release.
- If the Corel installer opens, choose Repair.
- Keep the existing product language and installation location unless the installer specifically asks you to correct them.
- Allow the repair to complete.
- Restart Windows.
- Start CorelDRAW normally.
Corel’s repair process is intended to restore missing or corrupted program files, shortcuts, and registration information. It is preferable to copying a DLL because the installer can restore related files and maintain the correct version relationship.
If Repair is not available
Run the original CorelDRAW installer again. Depending on the release, the installer may offer Repair, Modify, or Reinstall after it detects the existing installation.
If you downloaded CorelDRAW through your Corel account, download the installer again from that account. If you have original installation media, use that media rather than a third-party repackaged installer.
If the installer reports that the product is already installed but provides no repair option, continue with a clean reinstall in Fix 3.

How to tell whether Repair worked
Repair succeeded if:
- CorelDRAW opens without the
iuiintl.dllmessage. - The program reaches its normal workspace.
- Corel tools and menus load correctly.
- The same error does not return after restarting Windows.
If a different DLL is now named, do not copy that DLL manually. The repair may have restored iuiintl.dll while revealing another missing dependency or another damaged component. Note the complete new message and continue with the runtime and antivirus checks below.
Fix 2: Check the Corel installation path and language component
Time needed: 5–15 minutes
A historical CorelDRAW installation stored this file below a language-specific path such as LanguagesenPrograms. That does not establish the correct path for every release.
- Press Windows key + E to open File Explorer.
- Browse to the folder where CorelDRAW is installed.
- Search inside that Corel folder for:
text
iuiintl.dll
- If you find the file, note its full path. Do not move or rename it.
- Compare that path with the path shown in the error message, if Windows displays one.
- If the file is in a different Corel version’s folder, do not copy it into the failing installation.
- Open Programs and Features again and choose Modify or Repair for the affected CorelDRAW installation.
- Check whether the required product language or program component is selected.
- Apply the change and restart Windows.
Different CorelDRAW releases can install different files, and an English language module should not be assumed to be interchangeable with another language module. Keep each CorelDRAW version in its own installation directory.

Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallFix 3: Perform a clean CorelDRAW reinstall
Time needed: 30–60 minutes
Use this when Repair is unavailable, fails, or repeatedly restores the file only for it to disappear again.
Before removing CorelDRAW, back up personal workspaces, templates, macros, custom brushes, fonts, and other user-created content. The exact backup locations vary by CorelDRAW release.
- Save your work and close every Corel application.
- Press Windows key + R.
- Type:
text
appwiz.cpl
- Press Enter.
- Select CorelDRAW or CorelDRAW Graphics Suite.
- Choose Uninstall/Change.
- Follow the Corel uninstaller.
- Restart Windows when prompted.
- If the normal uninstall fails or the installer still detects a damaged installation, use the clean-uninstall procedure for your exact CorelDRAW release.
- Restart Windows again.
- Download or launch the installer from your official Corel account or original installation media.
- Install the same edition and required language.
- Leave the default installation folder in place unless you have a specific reason to change it.
- Restart Windows after installation.
- Launch CorelDRAW before restoring custom files.
Do not use a DLL from the old installation to repair the new one. A failed reinstall can leave old MSI records, language files, or application folders behind, so follow the release-specific Corel removal instructions when a normal uninstall is incomplete.
If the reinstall fails
Record the installer’s exact message. Check whether:
- Windows has pending updates
- Another Corel process remains open in Task Manager
- Security software blocked the installer
- The installer is for the same product edition and language
- The available disk has enough space
- The old installation was actually removed
Do not repeatedly copy DLLs into the new folder. That can hide the original installation problem and create a mixed set of files.
Fix 4: Check Windows Security Protection history
Time needed: 5–15 minutes
If CorelDRAW worked and iuiintl.dll suddenly vanished, antivirus quarantine is a realistic possibility.
- Open Start and type Windows Security.
- Open Windows Security.
- Select Virus & threat protection.
- Select Protection history.
- Look for a detection involving
iuiintl.dllor the CorelDRAW installation folder. - Open the detection and note the file path and detection name.
- Run a current scan before restoring anything.
Restore the file only when you can verify that it came from a legitimate Corel installation and the detection is being handled through a trusted, supported process. Do not disable antivirus protection broadly.
If the file is repeatedly quarantined:
- Update CorelDRAW using its official installer or account.
- Update Windows Security definitions.
- Scan the installer before running it.
- Contact Corel or Microsoft support if the same legitimate file continues to be detected.
- Repair or reinstall CorelDRAW instead of restoring an uncertain file.
If malware is suspected, leave the file quarantined until the system has been scanned. A familiar filename is not proof that a particular copy is safe.

Time needed: 10–20 minutes

Microsoft supplies separate Visual C++ packages for different architectures, including:
vc_redist.x86.exevc_redist.x64.exevc_redist.arm64.exe
On 64-bit Windows, an older or 32-bit CorelDRAW release may require the x86 package even though Windows itself is 64-bit. Install the package architecture required by the Corel release rather than assuming that x64 alone is sufficient.
- Open Microsoft’s official Visual C++ Redistributable download page.
- Download the current supported package required by your Corel installation.
- On 64-bit Windows, install or repair both x86 and x64 where applicable.
- Run each installer.
- Choose Repair if it is already installed, or Install if it is absent.
- Restart Windows.
- Start CorelDRAW.
If the error remains, return to Corel Repair. A runtime repair is secondary and does not replace restoring the proprietary Corel component.

Fix 6: Repair Windows components with DISM and SFC
Time needed: 15–30 minutes
Use this step when other unrelated applications also report missing or damaged Windows files. It is less likely to restore a private Corel DLL.
- Open Start.
- Type Command Prompt.
- Right-click Command Prompt.
- Select Run as administrator.
- Approve the User Account Control prompt.
- Run:
cmd
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- Wait for DISM to finish.
- Then run:
cmd
sfc /scannow
- Wait until the verification reaches 100 percent.
- Restart Windows.
- Try CorelDRAW again.
Microsoft recommends running DISM before SFC. DISM repairs the Windows component store, while SFC checks protected Windows system files. Neither command normally restores a Corel-owned iuiintl.dll.
Repeating these commands will not substitute for repairing CorelDRAW. If the commands report that Windows files were repaired but Corel still cannot start, return to Fix 1 or Fix 3.
If you prefer help identifying which Windows components need attention rather than repeatedly interpreting command output, Outbyte PC Repair can scan for issues and show what needs attention; its repair functions are performed by the full version, and it is not a replacement for reinstalling CorelDRAW when the Corel file itself is missing.
Fix 7: Update Windows and check drivers only when symptoms are broader
Time needed: 15–30 minutes
A graphics driver is not the normal source of iuiintl.dll, and Device Manager will not restore a missing Corel file. Driver work is relevant when CorelDRAW also crashes during startup, Windows displays graphics errors, or other applications fail after a Windows upgrade.
Check Windows Update
- Open Settings.
- Select Windows Update.
- Select Check for updates.
- Install available updates.
- Restart Windows.
- Try CorelDRAW again.
Check the display driver
- Right-click Start.
- Select Device Manager.
- Expand Display adapters.
- Right-click the graphics adapter.
- Choose Update driver.
- Select Search automatically for drivers.
- Restart Windows if a driver is installed.
Do not remove a working driver solely because iuiintl.dll is missing. Repair CorelDRAW first.
If you need to avoid manually hunting through hardware pages and comparing driver versions, Outbyte Driver Updater can scan for outdated drivers; its driver installation functions are performed by the full version, and a driver update does not replace the definitive CorelDRAW repair.
Fix 8: Reset the CorelDRAW workspace for one-user problems
Time needed: 5 minutes
If CorelDRAW works under another Windows account but fails only under your account, the program file may be intact and the problem may be limited to a damaged workspace or user configuration.
CorelDRAW supports resetting the workspace while launching:

- EASY-TO-USE: Create confidently with a user-friendly interface, intuitive tools, tips, and tutorials —no matter your skill level or area of expertise
- Close CorelDRAW.
- Hold F8.
- While holding F8, start CorelDRAW.
- Confirm the workspace reset when prompted.
- Release F8 after the reset prompt appears.
This removes workspace preferences, so custom toolbars, layouts, and other settings may need to be recreated. Back up custom settings first when possible.
If CorelDRAW still reports iuiintl.dll after the workspace reset, the problem is probably in the installation rather than the user profile. Use Repair or reinstall.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesWhy architecture and version matching matter
A DLL filename is not a complete identity. The correct file also depends on:
- The CorelDRAW release
- The installed product language
- The application’s architecture
- Related private Corel libraries
- Microsoft runtime dependencies
An older 32-bit CorelDRAW release may require a 32-bit copy of the file and its matching dependencies even on 64-bit Windows. A file from a newer release may produce a bad-image message, an entry-point error, or another loading failure.
There is no verified universal current version, size, hash, or architecture table for iuiintl.dll. Do not treat historical listings as specifications for current CorelDRAW.
What not to do
Do not download the DLL from a random website
Third-party DLL repositories can provide malware, an incorrect release, the wrong architecture, or a file missing its required dependencies. Even a clean file with the right name may not match the rest of your CorelDRAW installation.
Use Corel’s official installer, account, original media, or built-in Repair option.
Do not copy it into System32 or SysWOW64
Those folders are for Windows and shared system components. Putting a private Corel file there does not repair the application’s own installation and can create confusion about which copy Windows is loading.
Do not mix CorelDRAW versions
Never overwrite one CorelDRAW release’s DLL with a file taken from another release. Keep each installation in its own directory and let its installer restore its files.
Do not use regsvr32 as a routine fix
regsvr32 is intended for self-registering COM or OLE DLLs that provide registration entry points such as DllRegisterServer. An application interface or resource DLL may not support those functions.

Running a command such as this is not a standard repair for iuiintl.dll:
regsvr32 iuiintl.dll
It can produce “entry point not found” or “module was loaded but the entry point was not found” errors. It also does not restore a missing file or its dependencies.

FAQ
Is iuiintl.dll a Windows system file?
No. It is associated with CorelDRAW and is described as “Corel User Interface.” It should normally remain within the Corel installation rather than being placed in a Windows system folder.
Which CorelDRAW versions contain it?
Historical file records associate it with older CorelDRAW releases, including a CorelDRAW 12 installation. That does not prove that every CorelDRAW generation contains the same file or uses the same version. Use the installer for the exact release you have.
Should I install Visual C++ first?
No. Repair CorelDRAW first. Visual C++ is useful only when the Corel file is present but a dependent runtime is missing or damaged.
Can SFC restore iuiintl.dll?
Usually no. SFC repairs protected Windows files, not private files installed by CorelDRAW.
What if the error says the file is “not designed to run on Windows”?
That can indicate a corrupt file, an incompatible architecture, or a missing dependency. Repair the exact CorelDRAW installation and avoid replacing the file with a copy from another release.
What if Repair completes but the error remains?
Check the full path in the error, inspect Protection history, and note whether the message names another DLL. Then repair the applicable Visual C++ packages and perform a clean CorelDRAW reinstall if necessary.
Should I use System Restore?
Use it only when the failure clearly began after a recent software or system change and a suitable restore point exists. It is a later recovery option, not the normal fix for a missing Corel file.
What information should I give Corel Support?
Provide the CorelDRAW edition and release, Windows version, exact error text, full path shown in the message, whether Repair completed, whether antivirus quarantined anything, and whether other Windows accounts can start CorelDRAW. Do not send an unverified DLL as a proposed solution.
Final repair order
Use this order to avoid unnecessary changes:
- Run CorelDRAW Repair.
- Verify the installation language and path.
- Check Windows Security Protection history.
- Repair the applicable Visual C++ packages.
- Perform a clean CorelDRAW reinstall.
- Run DISM followed by SFC if Windows itself appears damaged.
- Reset the workspace if only one user account is affected.
- Escalate with the exact error and installation details if the failure continues.
The reliable destination for iuiintl.dll is the matching CorelDRAW installer, not a Windows system folder or an unknown DLL download.
