Developed by Polish studio Gaming Factory, JDM: Japanese Drift Master is an open-world, story-driven racing game. Its setting is the fictional region of Guntama, where the story follows Touma as he tries to make a name for himself in Japanese street racing. GCL’s announcement describes Guntama as having over 250 km of main roads; this is the game’s represented road network, not a measurement of real roads in Japan.

Story content is delivered through events and manga pages; the PlayStation listing says its campaign has more than 40 narrative events and side quests.
Where can you play, and what about multiplayer?
Steam lists the PC release, while the PlayStation Store lists the PS5 version. In a September 16, 2026 Steam announcement, Gaming Factory said the console multiplayer update had gone live on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The developer describes cross-platform connectivity between consoles and PC, with lobbies for up to eight players.

That announcement is the latest verified console multiplayer status in the sources cited here. It confirms console multiplayer and PC-console connectivity, but does not specify further matchmaking or cross-play settings.
Can you use a racing wheel?
The PlayStation listing names Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec steering wheels as supported brands, but it does not identify compatible models. If choosing a wheel for PS5, check the compatibility information for the exact model rather than assuming every wheel from a listed brand works with the game.

Which version should you choose?
Choose based on the platform you own and whether you want to play the campaign, race with others, or use a wheel. PC and PS5 have separate release dates; the multiplayer announcement covers PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles and describes connectivity with PC. For a wheel setup, the available listing confirms brands rather than model-level compatibility.
