In A Lay Of The Land, enter the warehouse, go upstairs to the foreman’s office, and collect the Shipping Notes. You must then find Control Tower A6, retrieve its LiDAR Scanner, extract with it, and deliver it to Shani in Speranza.

Shani gives this quest after you complete A Reveal In Ruins. It takes place on Spaceport and is marked IN ONE ROUND, so the Shipping Notes and LiDAR Scanner objectives must be completed during the same deployment.

- Find the Shipping Notes in the foreman’s office.
- Locate the scanners on the upper floor of Control Tower A6.
- Extract with one LiDAR Scanner.
- Deliver the scanner to Shani in Speranza.
The quest rewards are 1 Dam Testing Annex Key, 3 Ziplines, and 2 Smoke Grenades. The required quest item is 1 LiDAR Scanner.

Open the Spaceport map and head toward the northwest/western side, close to the Fuel Depot. The warehouse is the large industrial building in that area. Shani’s acceptance dialogue describes it as being in the northwest of Spaceport, which is also where the detailed walkthroughs place it.

Spaceport has long sightlines and exposed approaches, so avoid crossing open ground unnecessarily. The warehouse area can also attract other players looking for loot or working on the same quest.
How to find the Shipping Notes
- Enter the Jiangsu Warehouse.
- Find the stairs and go to the upper level.
- Look for the office overlooking the warehouse floor. This is the foreman’s office.
- Interact with the notes on the desk. The prompt may appear as Collect Notes.
Collecting the notes completes that part of the quest, but it does not finish the deployment. You still need to visit Control Tower A6, obtain the scanner, and successfully extract.

Control Tower A6 location
Control Tower A6 is in the central Spaceport area beside the Launch Towers. It is the smaller, square building, rather than the prominent main launch-tower structure. Depending on your map orientation, it is described as southeast of the Launch Towers.

A turret can sometimes be present in the initial room, so check the entrance before moving farther inside.

How to get the LiDAR Scanner
- Enter Control Tower A6 through the main entrance.
- Move through the first room and take the stairs to the upper floor.
- Turn right, then turn right again around the dividers or cubicles.
- Search the marked container behind the short office-divider walls.
- When the LiDAR Scanner appears, physically pick it up and place it in your inventory.
Searching the container alone is not enough. The scanner is generated by the search, but you must then collect the item. If the scanner does not appear in your inventory, make sure you have a free inventory slot and check the container or floor again.
Extract without losing the quest item
Once you have the Shipping Notes and LiDAR Scanner, leave Spaceport and extract successfully. If you die before extraction, the scanner is lost and the quest may reset because the objectives are designed to be completed in one round.
If you have Safe Pocket capacity, place the LiDAR Scanner there before heading to an extraction point. This does not replace the need to extract, but it can protect the item from being lost if you are eliminated before reaching the exit.

Finish the quest
After extracting with the scanner, return to Speranza and speak with Shani to deliver it. The quest should then complete and award the Dam Testing Annex Key, Ziplines, and Smoke Grenades.

Common mistakes
- Going to The Dam: This quest is set on Spaceport, not The Dam. The Dam Testing Annex Key is a reward, not the quest location.
- Searching but not picking up the scanner: The objective may appear to progress during the raid, but the scanner must be carried out successfully.
- Leaving before collecting the notes: The Shipping Notes and scanner must be handled in the same deployment.
- Ignoring inventory space: Free a slot before searching the scanner container.
- Rushing into A6: Check for players and the possible turret before climbing to the upper floor.
