How to start Jinming Pool: Petalfall Banquet
According to the walkthrough, complete Kaifeng’s main story quests first. Kaifeng becomes accessible at level 32, but the guide identifies completion of the main story—not reaching that level alone—as the campaign prerequisite. Begin at the third floor of Baojin Tower during Shen Hour (15:00–17:00) or You Hour (17:00–19:00). If needed, use the in-game time adjustment menu to reach one of those windows.
Complete the banquet and infiltration
Prepare for the banquet
- Speak to Murong Yuan on the balcony overlooking Jinming Pool.
- Deliver invitations to Meng Xuanzhe, Gu Yi, and Shi Shouxin.
- Return to Baojin Tower and advance the banquet dialogue.
- Afterward, speak with Murong Yuan and Zhao Guangyi.
Infiltrate Jinming Pool
Mark all five surveillance points with Murong Yuan. Then dive to the underwater outlet. Follow the Shu envoy toward the next scene, using the rooftops or the water route.
Board the Quintadent Warship
The boarding objective is timed: the guide describes a five-minute segment. You need two items before you can use the marked boarding point.

- Take the Boarding Tally from the Shu envoy.
- Get the Guarding Tally from Commander Hao.
- Use the complete tally at the marked point to activate the Flying Rope and board the warship.
Solve the Command Room statue puzzle
Once inside the Command Room, inspect the paintings and place the Zhao, Shi, Li Jun, and Murong statues in front of their matching paintings. The Murong statue requires an extra interaction:
- Resonate the bell with the golden door knocker.
- Use Meridian Touch on the knocker to open the door.
- Collect the Murong statue and place it before its matching painting.
Navigate the flooded cabins
Investigate the secret chamber and collect the Wooden Eagle Diagram before continuing down through the ship. In the central cabin, raise the water level. Open the side cabins by shooting their bells, then use Meridian Touch on their locks. Once you have completed the cabin interactions, fix the water level and continue through the boss doors.

Beat Murong Yuan
Phase one
The walkthrough recommends dodging most attacks that glow yellow. Some charged attacks can be interrupted with Meridian Touch, but the timing is tight. Do not attack while Murong Yuan is in her parry stance.
Phase two
The Wooden Eagle joins the fight, but keep your target on Murong Yuan. The guide says the encounter ends when her health reaches zero; defeating the Eagle is not required.
Finish the quest and collect its rewards
After the boss cutscene, head north and jump into the water. Collect the Wooden Eagle fragments to complete the quest.
The Feb. 7, 2026 walkthrough lists the following quest-completion rewards. These are guide-reported quantities and may change by game version or localization.
