Gold Experience Requiem is Giorno Giovanna’s transformed battle form, not a separate character you need to buy or unlock. In JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, you can encounter it already active in the Part 5 All-Star Battle Mode fight “Beyond the Arrow’s Power,” or evolve Giorno’s Gold Experience into Requiem during a fight.

Clear the stage immediately before “Beyond the Arrow’s Power.” The JoJo Wiki’s Part 5 panel reference lists clearing the previous stage as the encounter’s unlock condition.

Enter “Beyond the Arrow’s Power.” Its listed special condition starts the player in Gold Experience Requiem mode, so this is the most direct route if you want to play a match with the form active from the outset.

That starting condition applies to the encounter; it is not a permanent roster unlock. The same panel reference lists three Secret Missions for the fight—land “Can you escape destruction?”, land “YOU WILL NEVER REACH TRUTH!”, and win a round with “MUDAAA!”—but these are mission objectives, not requirements to unlock Requiem or enter the stage.
How to use Requiem in other fights
Select Giorno Giovanna and use his Requiem evolution action during the fight. The JoJo Wiki’s Giorno reference says the transformation animation needs to play without interruption before he gains access to Requiem’s abilities. It describes the animation as roughly three seconds; treat that as an approximation, not a guaranteed timer.

The available references do not verify one button sequence that works across platforms and control layouts. Check Giorno’s in-game command list for the exact input on your setup. If you want to practice the action, Practice Mode is available, though the official mode information does not specify a Requiem-specific practice configuration.
Why All-Star Battle Mode is the relevant progression route
All-Star Battle Mode is the game’s progression mode, built around panels with conditions, missions, dialogue, and rewards. Bandai Namco describes it as containing over 100 battles with varied settings and conditions, with rewards such as character skins and illustrations. The Part 5 panel reference identifies “Beyond the Arrow’s Power” as the encounter where Requiem starts active.
The official game pages also list Arcade, Online, Versus, Practice, and Gallery modes. For finding the Requiem-start encounter, focus on All-Star Battle Mode; the other modes are not presented as unlock routes for that battle.
Character and platform details
You play as Giorno in either case: the encounter condition starts him in Requiem mode, while the in-fight action evolves his Gold Experience. Bandai Namco lists All-Star Battle R for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Its game page lists Standard Edition physical and digital options; availability can differ by region. Nintendo also has an official Switch product page. Neither platform nor edition is identified as a separate Requiem unlock.
