Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE launched exclusively on Apple Arcade on April 3, 2025. Published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, the game puts a livestream spin on the series’ familiar idea of rolling objects into a growing Katamari.
When did Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE launch?
Apple announced the April 3, 2025 launch in a March 11, 2025 newsroom post, describing Rolling LIVE as the franchise’s first original game in nearly eight years. That timing is Apple’s characterization in the announcement. The date has passed.

Where can you play it?
Apple announced Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE as an Apple Arcade exclusive, with Bandai Namco Entertainment named as its publisher. Apple Arcade is subscription-based; Apple said a subscription gives a family of up to six access to its game catalog. See Apple’s March 11, 2025 announcement.
Apple’s announcement does not establish the game’s current catalog status, price, minimum operating-system requirements, supported devices, or availability in a particular region. Apple notes generally that game availability across its devices depends on hardware and software compatibility and that some content may not be available in all areas. What kind of game is Rolling LIVE?
Apple describes the central play as “roll, stick, and grow”: gather objects scattered across the earth into a Katamari, make it grow, and create stars. Its announcement also frames the action as a livestream. In that description, fan comments and a growing audience accompany play, while completing challenges and raising a subscriber count unlock stages. These are features as described by Apple at launch, not independently verified gameplay observations.
