Interactive maps for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 covering Trosky and Kuttenberg were announced by IGN in a February 19, 2025 article reported by Ydeng. The maps were described as offering filters for quests, collectibles, services, items, travel points, NPCs, caravans and hunting spots. That announcement was not made by Warhorse Studios, and it does not establish that every feature or map page remains accessible today.

The game recreates 15th-century Bohemia. In a February 4, 2025 Xbox Wire article, marketing support writer John Bedford discussed that historical setting with Warhorse senior game designer Ondřej Bittner. Bittner described consulting people responsible for castles and churches when possible, and reconstructing details from broader period knowledge when direct material was unavailable.
