Legacy of the Forge
Henry takes on the work of restoring a burnt-down forge and making a home in Kuttenberg. Customization extends to the forge, the surrounding area and his private quarters.
Mysteria Ecclesiae
The mystery unfolds at Sedletz Monastery, where Henry investigates a disease outbreak and the secrets of a quarantined community. PLAION says the quest begins when Henry speaks to Peter of Písek, who asks him to help the physician Albich of Uniczow. The official guidance is on PLAION’s Mysteria Ecclesiae support page.
The story also draws on historical research into European medical learning. In a November 10, 2025 feature, Xbox Wire quoted Warhorse senior narrative designer Martina Daněk: “In this DLC we have a famous Czech physician, Albich of Uniczow, who was studying at the time in Padua, Italy,” The feature discusses monastery medicine, herbal remedies, leeches and surgery as historical inspiration, not medical advice. Read Xbox Wire’s feature.

PLAION says the Expansion Pass includes all three story expansions—Brushes with Death, Legacy of the Forge and Mysteria Ecclesiae—plus the bonus unlockable content Shields of Seasons Passing. The pass is a bundle route to the expansions; it is distinct from buying an individual DLC or owning an edition that includes content. Check PLAION’s Expansion Pass support page and your own platform store for the current listing.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which edition or purchase route should you choose?
Start by checking what you already own. Edition names and included content can differ between listings, and platform stores may change their packaging, prices and regional availability.
| Route | What the cited information establishes | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Standalone expansion | Mysteria Ecclesiae can be purchased separately through a platform store, according to PLAION’s support page. | Whether the specific expansion is available for your platform and region, and whether your edition already includes it. |
| Expansion Pass | Includes the three story expansions and Shields of Seasons Passing, according to PLAION. | That the pass is listed for your platform and that none of its content is already in your library. |
| Royal Edition | The official game page lists the base game, Gallant Huntsman’s Kit, Shields of Seasons Passing, The Lion’s Crest and all three story expansions among its contents. | The exact contents of the Royal Edition listing in your region and on your platform. |
| Gold Edition | PLAION’s Mysteria Ecclesiae support page says Gold Edition owners receive that expansion at no extra cost. | Confirm that your owned edition is Gold and that the platform recognizes the entitlement before purchasing separately. |
The Royal Edition contents appear on the official Kingdom Come: Deliverance II site. Because the support page specifically describes Gold Edition while the official site currently presents Royal Edition contents, do not assume the names are interchangeable: verify your library and the current store listing before paying.
Quick Recap
How to avoid buying DLC you already own
- Open the game’s store page on the platform where you play and inspect the edition and DLC listings for your region.
- Check your library or account purchase history for the Expansion Pass, the individual expansions and any listed edition entitlements.
- Compare the listed inclusions with what the store says you own. In particular, confirm whether your edition includes the story expansions or whether it only grants a specific expansion.
- Buy a standalone expansion or pass only after confirming it is not already available through your edition or existing purchase.
