After the introductory quests ending with “Laboratores,” the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit and Shields of Seasons Passing should be available in your shared stash. PlayStation players may also need to claim the shield add-on from the game’s Store page. The Lion’s Crest is a separate quest and may have a separate eligibility requirement.
What Gold Edition includes
Deep Silver describes Gold Edition as the standard edition, Expansion Pass, and Gallant Huntsman’s Kit. The Expansion Pass includes three story expansions—Brushes with Death, Legacy of the Forge, and Mysteria Ecclesiae—and the Shields of Seasons Passing bonus content. Deep Silver’s edition details and PLAION’s Expansion Pass page list those contents.

Edition names and listings are not presented identically across official pages: PLAION’s support page describes Royal Edition as including the base game, Gallant Huntsman’s Kit, Shields of Seasons Passing, The Lion’s Crest, and the three story expansions, while the official game site currently foregrounds Royal Edition. Check the owned-content or add-ons page for the platform account you use to play before buying anything again. PLAION’s Royal Edition listing and the official game website provide the relevant listings.
Claim the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit and shields
- Check your entitlement. Confirm that the account and storefront used to launch the game owns Gold Edition or the relevant content. Gold Edition includes the Expansion Pass and kit, but storefront add-ons may still need to be downloaded or installed.
- Install the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit. PLAION says the kit becomes available in the shared stash once unlocked after the introductory quests, with “Laboratores” as the last quest in that sequence. If you completed the quest before installing the content, return to the game or log in again; the support page says a premium-items notification appears. See PLAION’s Gallant Huntsman’s Kit instructions.
- Install Shields of Seasons Passing. Check that the Expansion Pass is owned and that its shield add-on is downloaded. After “Laboratores,” the shields should be in the shared stash. On PlayStation, PLAION says to open the game’s Store listing, scroll to Add-ons, select “Shield of Season Passing,” and claim it for free. The store label may appear in the singular even though the content includes four shields. See PLAION’s shield instructions.
The documented Store-page claim path is for PlayStation. The support instructions do not specify matching PC or Xbox menu labels, so use those platforms’ owned-content or add-ons pages to check and install the content rather than assuming the same steps.
#1 Best Overall
- Live life through the eyes and actions of Henry, a young man on a quest to avenge his murdered parents. His story – illustrated with over five hours of stunning cinematics – takes him from aspiring warrior to rebel, crossing paths with a charismatic cast of characters and an unforgettable set of adventures, as he goes up against the King of Hungary, Sigismund the Red Fox and his fearsome allies.
- Your actions shape Henry’s destiny and how the world will react to him. Customize freely his appearance, skills and equipment while taking a moral stance on the events around you. Travel round the land engaging in unique activities, such as blacksmithing and archery, to truly immerse yourself in this vibrant region of Europe that will remember your actions, forever.
- This stunningly authentic rendition of 15th Century Bohemia allows you to experience this fascinating setting like never before. Get lost in a sprawling city, engage with peasants and talk with nobles while exploring a vast and rich countryside with taverns, bath houses, castles and more.
- Feel the clash of steel and visceral combat as you engage in thrilling real-time battles. There’s a range of authentic weapons and combat styles to suit every player. On foot, horse or by stealth, you can specialise in elegant sword mastery, brutal blunt weapons or deadly ranged attacks.
- The Gold Edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II contains the standard edition, Expansion Pass and the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit.
What should be in the shared stash?
Gallant Huntsman’s Kit
The kit contains the St. Hubert hat, Master huntsman’s hood, Nimrod coat, Master huntsman’s hose, gloves and boots, Artemis’ crossbow, and 30 hunting bolts. These are the kit’s listed contents; the “Laboratores” gate applies to when it becomes available in the shared stash. PLAION lists the kit items here.
Shields of Seasons Passing
The bonus contains the Shield of Spring, Shield of Summer, Shield of Autumn, and Shield of Winter. They reskin existing shields rather than adding a distinct set of shield mechanics. PLAION says this content is only available in the Expansion Pass. See PLAION’s shield description.
Rank #2
- Experience the events with the eyes of Heinrich, a young man who moves to avenge the murder of his parents
- The authentic rendition of the 15th-century bohemiah gives you the opportunity to experience this fascinating environment like never before
- Customize Heinrich's appearance, skills and equipment to your liking
- The Gold Edition includes the game, the "Expansion Pass" DLC, bonus quest "Lion Crests" DLC and the DLC "Equipment of the Brave Hunter"
Get The Lion’s Crest through its own quest
Do not look for The Lion’s Crest as a shared-stash delivery alongside the kit. Once you have the relevant entitlement and have completed “Laboratores,” talk to the local scribe near Trosky Castle to start the quest; completing it rewards Brunswick’s armor pieces, a horse caparison, a poleaxe, and a dagger. PLAION’s quest instructions describe the start and rewards.
Eligibility is not as straightforward as for the kit and shields: Deep Silver associates The Lion’s Crest bonus quest with preorder, while PLAION’s Royal Edition contents list it. Gold Edition’s inclusion of the Expansion Pass and kit alone does not establish that every Gold Edition owner is entitled to The Lion’s Crest. Check your platform’s owned add-ons and purchase history before expecting the quest or buying content again. Deep Silver’s edition page describes the Gold Edition and preorder association.
Quick Recap
Rank #3
- Massive realistic open world: Majestic castles, vast fields, all rendered in stunning high-end graphics
- Non-linear story: Solve quests in multiple ways, then face the consequences of your decisions
- character development: Choose your equipment, improve your skills and earn new perks
If Gold Edition items are not showing up
- Verify the account and storefront. Make sure the game is running under the account that owns the edition or add-on, and check that the entitlement is visible in that platform’s game or add-ons listing.
- Check installation. Gold Edition ownership and installed content are separate checks; download the kit and applicable Expansion Pass content if they are not installed.
- Check quest progress. The documented shared-stash availability for the kit and shields begins after the introductory sequence ending with “Laboratores.”
- For PlayStation shields, claim the add-on. Open the game’s Store listing and claim “Shield of Season Passing” for free under Add-ons, as directed by PLAION.
- For The Lion’s Crest, check eligibility and start the quest. It is not delivered like the stash items; confirm entitlement, then speak to the scribe near Trosky Castle after “Laboratores.”
