To complete The Magic Arrow in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, get the quest from Pasha at Devil’s Den, dig Karel’s grave beside a willow outside the cemetery near Sedletz Monastery, then decide whether to give the arrow to Hare or take it to Pasha. Giving it to Hare ends the quest without a reward; keeping it lets you choose whether to spare Pasha for a reported 30 Groschen or shoot him and loot the camp.
How to start The Magic Arrow
The Magic Arrow is a Kuttenberg side quest. Speak with Pasha at Devil’s Den to begin it. PowerPyx lists completion of the main quest Speak of the Devil as a prerequisite; if Pasha is not there, check whether you have completed the earlier Arrow-head task. PowerPyx’s walkthrough covers the quest requirement and starting point.

Where is Karel’s grave?
Go to the cemetery near Sedletz Monastery, northeast of Kuttenberg. Karel’s grave is not inside the cemetery: it is outside the wall, beside a willow. If you already know the spot, you can go straight there and dig without asking the gravedigger.
If you need help locating it, speak with the gravedigger north of the cemetery. Guides report that you must pass an Easy skill check or choose the appropriate dialogue answers to get him to disclose the location. A spade is available at the grave site if you do not have one. Dig, then carefully remove the arrow.

Should you give the arrow to Hare or Pasha?
Return to Devil’s Den. Pasha is absent, so speak with Hare and follow him toward the bandit camp. On the way, Hare demands the arrow. This is the first major branch:

| Choice | What happens |
|---|---|
| Give the arrow to Hare | The quest ends immediately, with no reward reported by Gamer Guides and Game-Checklists. |
| Refuse Hare | A skill check or combat may follow. If Hare backs down or stops leading you, use the camp marker or search the marked woods rather than continuing to follow him. |
Guides differ in their description of what happens after you pass the check: PowerPyx says Hare leaves, while Game-Checklists describes continuing toward the camp after he backs down. Either way, keeping the arrow preserves the route to Pasha. You can tell Pasha about Hare at the camp; guides report that doing so does not change what happens next.
How to find Pasha’s camp
Continue into the marked wooded objective area. The camp is identified as an Enemy camp point of interest on the east side of the area; it is also described as being at the far end of the objective area from where Hare confronts you. Find Pasha there and deliver the arrow.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Should you spare Pasha or shoot him?
After you deliver the arrow, Pasha asks you to shoot him in the head with it. The two endings trade a reported dialogue reward for the chance to kill him and loot the camp.
| Ending | Reported outcome |
|---|---|
| Talk Pasha out of it | PowerPyx and Game-Checklists report a reward of 30 Groschen for sparing him. Game-Checklists describes a hard Speech check; exact dialogue conditions may differ between guides. |
| Shoot Pasha | Agreeing gives you a crossbow. A successful headshot kills Pasha, sends the bandits fleeing, and lets you loot the camp and Pasha’s body. |
There is no universal best ending: spare Pasha if you want his life preserved and the reported Groschen reward, or shoot him if you want to end the threat and take the available camp loot. Guides are not fully consistent about exact dialogue conditions or loot totals. A missed shot or refusing to shoot may lead to combat or loss of the arrow, so do not assume those outcomes are identical to either main ending.
What happens after The Magic Arrow?
Game-Checklists reports that completing the quest can unlock Something rotten… in Grund, sometimes after several in-game days. Treat this as a reported follow-up rather than a guaranteed immediate trigger.
