Killzone 2 content did come to Helldivers 2, but not as an ordinary Warbond at first: Arrowhead launched it as rotating Premium Superstore content in December 2024. On December 11, 2025, the studio announced its return as the Helldivers 2 x Killzone Legendary Warbond, priced at 1,500 Super Credits and scheduled for December 18, 2025. That release date has passed; the official announcement does not establish whether the Warbond is currently available in every region.
How the Killzone crossover changed format
Arrowhead announced the Killzone 2 collaboration on December 18, 2024, calling it Helldivers 2’s first official crossover. It initially appeared as special Premium content in the rotating Superstore, rather than as a Warbond. The studio planned two store pages, with each available for five days, and described the longer rotations as a temporary test following player feedback about short store availability. Arrowhead’s December 2024 announcement has the original schedule and format.

On December 11, 2025, Arrowhead announced the items’ return as a Legendary Warbond, with the release set for December 18, 2025. The new packaging changed access from a brief two-page store rotation to a Warbond with a stated price and an ownership credit for qualifying previous purchasers. The return announcement also says new content was added. Arrowhead’s December 2025 announcement lists the contents and access rules.

What the Legendary Warbond includes
The 2025 announcement lists weapons, two armor sets, capes, player cards, a title, and additional patterns:

- Weapons: StA-52 Assault Rifle, StA-11 SMG, and PLAS-39 Accelerator rifle.
- Armor: AC-1 Dutiful heavy armor and AC-2 Obedient light armor, each with the Acclimated passive.
- Passive: Acclimated provides 50% resistance to fire, gas, acid, and electrical damage, according to Arrowhead’s announcement.
- Other items: Matching capes, two player cards, and the Assault infantry player title.
- Patterns: Extrasolar Ash patterns for Exosuits, the FRV, Hellpods, and Pelicans.
Who can unlock it, and what does it cost?
Arrowhead stated a price of 1,500 Super Credits for the Legendary Warbond. The official post also distinguishes players who bought an original item from those who received one as a gift:
- If you previously purchased any Killzone item, the complete Legendary Warbond is unlocked at no extra cost under the stated ownership rule.
- Previously purchased items and items gifted in December 2024 are unlocked with medals.
- If you only received a gifted item and did not purchase at least one Killzone item, you still need to pay 1,500 Super Credits for the Warbond.
- Players who joined after the original store items left in December 2024 can also unlock the Warbond for 1,500 Super Credits.
The announcement says the base game, paid Super Credits, and game progression are required. Premium Warbond tokens cannot be used to unlock this Warbond. It also notes regional limitations, but does not specify current regional availability as of October 8, 2026.

Is it still just “seemingly” coming?
No. The original headline’s uncertain wording reflects the earlier reporting context. Arrowhead subsequently confirmed the crossover’s return as a Legendary Warbond and announced its December 18, 2025 release. Community manager Mitchell Ayre wrote on the PlayStation Blog on December 11, 2025: “Helldivers 2 x Killzone is back and this time, it’s back for good!” The announcement supports that stated return, but does not confirm the Warbond’s live store status in every region today.
