Kingdom Come: Deliverance launched its next-gen update on February 13, 2026, and PLAION says the game was available on Microsoft Game Pass at release. The update is a separate benefit: people who already own the PS4 or Xbox One version can upgrade to the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S version at no extra charge, with their save data and progress carrying over. Game Pass access, by contrast, is catalog access rather than proof of ownership. The Xbox US listing checked October 8, 2026 shows inclusion with Game Pass Premium and Ultimate for cloud play; availability and terms can vary by region and change over time.
Is Kingdom Come: Deliverance on Xbox Game Pass?
Yes. PLAION says Kingdom Come: Deliverance was available on Microsoft Game Pass when the next-gen update launched on February 13, 2026. The Xbox US store listing checked October 8, 2026 shows the game included with Game Pass Premium and Ultimate for cloud play. That listing does not establish availability in every country, for every tier or play method, or for a future catalog period. Check the listing for your region and subscription before relying on access.
Game Pass lets eligible subscribers play while the title is included under the applicable catalog terms; it does not mean the subscriber owns the game. If you want to own it, the Xbox store lists Standard and Royal editions, and PLAION says new owners can buy the next-gen version digitally or as a physical edition. The publisher has not specified an exact physical release date, and current retail stock is not established.
Is the next-gen update free, and who qualifies?
PLAION says the update is free for people who already own the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version. Both digital and physical owners qualify. The free-upgrade entitlement depends on owning one of those older-generation versions; simply having Game Pass access is not, by itself, evidence that you own a copy eligible for the upgrade.
