KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I–III] launches October 8, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows via the Microsoft Store. The physical Switch 2 and PS5 editions require an internet connection to download additional game data, and the alleged Amazon-exclusive poster has not been verified.
When does KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I–III] release?
Square Enix lists October 8, 2026, as the launch date for Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows through the Microsoft Store. The publisher notes that availability and release times may vary by region. Best Buy and Walmart also list PS5 editions with an October 8 release date.
Square Enix’s announcement and Best Buy’s PS5 listing provide the release information.

Square Enix says these three offerings are also available individually. See the publisher’s collection announcement and Kingdom Hearts product information.

Yes. Square Enix says an internet connection is required to download additional data to play the physical collection. That means the physical package should not be treated as a complete, ready-to-play offline copy.

Which Keyblade bonus comes with each platform?
Square Enix identifies a platform-specific in-game Keyblade for qualifying purchases. The bonus is an item in the game, not a confirmed retailer-only physical gift.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Are there retailer-exclusive extras at Walmart, Amazon or Best Buy?
The available listings do not establish a Walmart- or Best Buy-exclusive physical bonus. Walmart’s page mentions the Long Night Keyblade, but Square Enix identifies that as the Nintendo Switch 2 platform bonus; Nintendo’s Switch 2 listing mentions it too. That does not make it a Walmart-exclusive gift. Best Buy lists the PS5 game, but its examined page does not substantiate an exclusive physical extra.

The claimed Amazon-exclusive poster is unverified: the sources checked do not confirm an Amazon product listing or poster offer. Treat the claim as unresolved unless a live Amazon product page clearly describes the bonus and its eligibility. Retail listings can change, so confirm any purported gift on the specific listing before ordering. Relevant pages include Walmart, Nintendo and Best Buy.
