A promotional video from Atlus has Morgana visit Koei Tecmo to interview general producer Kou Shibusawa, with Persona 5 Scramble gameplay shown alongside their conversation. Contemporaneous coverage says they discuss the Persona series, Shibusawa’s favorites, and why he thought combining Persona with Koei Tecmo’s Musou-style action could work.
What is the Shibusawa feature?
It is a video interview and promotional feature, not a conventional print interview. Gematsu described Morgana visiting Koei Tecmo and speaking with Shibusawa while the video also shows footage from Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. Siliconera’s contemporaneous report summarizes the conversation; because no verified transcript is available, Shibusawa’s remarks are best presented as reported paraphrases rather than direct quotations.

Gematsu’s video-feature coverage and Siliconera’s interview summary describe the feature and its game footage.
Who is Kou Shibusawa?
Gematsu identifies Kou Shibusawa as Yoichi Erikawa, a Koei Tecmo co-founder and the company’s general producer in the video. His appearance reflects his senior role and interest in Persona; it does not mean he personally directed or developed Scramble. Koei Tecmo’s announcement credits the game to a collaboration between its Omega Force team and Atlus’s Persona team.

What Shibusawa reportedly said about Persona
According to Siliconera’s account of the video, Shibusawa had played about 100 hours of Persona 5 and about 200 hours of Persona 4 Golden, which he described as his most-played Persona title. The report says he named Ann Takamaki his favorite Persona 5 character and Ryuji Sakamoto his favorite male character.
Siliconera also summarizes his admiration for Persona’s RPG structure, balance, stories, and distinctive style. He reportedly welcomed the idea of bringing Persona together with the Musou engine and considered the pairing a good fit before development began. That is Shibusawa’s reported view, not evidence that every player will feel the same way about the result.

How Persona and Omega Force came together
In its April 26, 2019 announcement, Koei Tecmo described the project as a collaboration between Atlus’s Persona team and Omega Force, and called it the Persona series’ first action RPG. That partnership is the practical context for Shibusawa’s reported enthusiasm: the game brings Persona’s characters and RPG framework into an action-oriented format associated with Omega Force.
