The available guide summaries do not establish further calendar-management details, so focus on completing the dungeon before the listed date.
The castle is part of the Martira main story, not an optional detour. Its associated quest is Apprehend the Real Kidnapper.
How to lower the sewage in the Old Reservoir
The Old Reservoir route requires activating six floodgate mechanisms to lower the sewage and open the way forward. The guide summary describes mechanisms on both sides of the area and calls out the right-side sequence: attend to the northeast mechanism before the southeast one.

Collect the northeast items first
Before completing the drainage sequence, pick up the nearby items by the northeast mechanism. Neoseeker’s guide warns that these items become inaccessible after the sewage is fully drained. Treat this as the key missable-item check before finishing the switches.
Complete the six-mechanism sequence
- Explore the Old Reservoir and locate the floodgate mechanisms on both sides.
- On the right-side route, deal with the northeast mechanism and collect its nearby items before proceeding to the southeast mechanism.
- Activate all six mechanisms to lower the sewage and open the route onward.
The available guide summary does not provide a verified room-by-room path or complete item list, so use an area map if you need exact positions for every mechanism or pickup.

Kriegante Castle enemy weaknesses
Enemy affinities differ, so check the target’s listed weaknesses and resistances rather than relying on one element or attack type for every encounter. Gamer Guides lists these matchups:
