What is Kung Fury: Street Rage?
Developed and published by Hello There Games on Steam, Kung Fury: Street Rage first released on PC on May 28, 2015. Its arcade-style structure sends characters through waves of enemies, with several playable characters and a “Hackademy” practice mode. The Ultimate Edition bundles the original content with two later campaigns: The Arcade Strikes Back and A Day at the Beach. The available storefront signals are positive, but they are user ratings on separate platforms—not a combined critic-review score. Steam’s listing was marked “Very Positive” when retrieved in October 2026, showing 89% positive from about 1,300 English-language reviews. The PlayStation Store showed 4.13 out of 5 from approximately 4.3K ratings at the same retrieval date. Both counts and scores can change.
Those ratings make the game a plausible choice for players drawn to its compact arcade format and retro presentation. They do not establish that its combat depth or longevity will suit every player. Is the Ultimate Edition different from the Arcade Paradise DLC?
Yes. Kung Fury: Street Rage – Ultimate Edition is a standalone game. Arcade Paradise: Kung Fury DLC is a separate add-on that brings a licensed Kung Fury cabinet to Arcade Paradise. Nintendo’s DLC listing describes four selectable characters, arcade-style waves, goals and online leaderboards; those are details of the DLC and should not be assumed to describe the standalone Ultimate Edition. - Consider it if you want an arcade-style beat ’em up, like the retro presentation, or want the two additional campaigns bundled with the Ultimate Edition.
- Check the platform details first if local co-op matters: the PlayStation listing explicitly documents a two-player co-op story campaign. Do not assume feature differences on other platforms from that listing alone.
- For a physical copy, treat Limited Run’s sold-out pages as confirmation of a past release, not proof of current resale stock. Verify the seller, condition, region and platform compatibility on any secondary-market listing.
For digital purchases, check the relevant storefront in your region for current availability and terms. The retrieved official physical-edition pages do not establish current Amazon stock or resale availability.
