Plan for six Large Brilliant Shards, in addition to the three Righteous Orbs, two Nexus Crystals and one Blood of Heroes listed for the enchant.
Grand Arcanist
This two-handed weapon enchant takes ten Large Brilliant Shards, four Righteous Orbs, four Nexus Crystals and one Blood of Heroes. Its reference describes an effect that can restore mana and increase spell power. The recipe page notes it was added in Patch 1.15.7 and records a 2025 hotfix; check the current in-game tooltip if the precise effect matters.

Other listed recipes
The Season of Discovery enchanting guide lists two shards each for Runed Arcanite Rod and Magnificent Trollshine. A July 2024 player discussion about the Darkmantle set also lists nine shards among requested materials, but that is a forum report, not an official recipe reference. The available references do not verify a complete, current acquisition list for Season of Discovery or a reliable current market price. The enchanting guide’s classic disenchanting table says level 51–55 and level 56–60 items produce one Large Brilliant Shard, but that general table alone does not establish a complete Season of Discovery rule. Treat it as context, not a guaranteed or exhaustive SoD farming instruction.

An October 2024 forum thread proposed Warden’s Enchanting Bags that could contain two to five shards. That post discusses a proposed change; it does not confirm that the bags or those contents were implemented. It is not a dependable acquisition method.
