If LEGO Horizon Adventures crashes on PS5, start by restarting the console and checking for game and system updates. If the game is on USB extended storage, move it to the PS5’s internal storage. These are PlayStation’s general game-launch troubleshooting steps; its guidance does not identify a confirmed cause or game-specific fix for this title.
First, note what happens when the game crashes
Before changing settings, record when the crash occurs, any error code on screen, and whether the game closes to the PS5 home screen or the entire console powers off. Also note whether other games are affected. These observations help you describe the problem to support, but they do not establish its cause.

Try the basic PS5 troubleshooting steps
- Restart the PS5. Then check for an update for LEGO Horizon Adventures and install the latest PS5 system software. PlayStation includes restarting and updating among its general game-launch troubleshooting steps. PlayStation’s game-launch troubleshooting guide.
- Move the game to internal storage if it is on USB extended storage. PlayStation’s guidance says to move game data to the PS5’s internal storage when troubleshooting a game installed on USB extended storage. See the PlayStation troubleshooting steps.
- Restore licenses. If restarting, updating, and moving the game do not help, try restoring licenses using PlayStation’s instructions for game-launch issues. The steps are general guidance, not a confirmed fix for LEGO Horizon Adventures.
- Delete and redownload the game if needed. A fresh download is another general PlayStation troubleshooting option. Make sure you understand what saved data is stored separately from the game before deleting anything.
- Check PlayStation service status. This is worth checking if the problem occurs while using an online feature; a service issue is not evidence that the game itself is faulty.
- Consider rebuilding the database in Safe Mode. PlayStation lists this among its launch troubleshooting steps. Follow the official instructions and the prompts shown on the console before proceeding.
When to contact support
If the crash continues, submit the issue through Horizon support. Its support page asks players with Horizon game issues to select the relevant title and fill out the form. Include when the crash occurs, the error code if one appears, whether the game returns to the dashboard or the console powers off, and whether other games are affected.
For a hardware, purchase, or PlayStation Network question, PlayStation routes players to PlayStation Support rather than the Horizon game-issue form.

Is there a confirmed LEGO Horizon Adventures crash bug?
The official support information cited here does not confirm a LEGO Horizon Adventures-specific PS5 crash bug or name a known error code for this symptom. PlayStation’s launch troubleshooting advice applies generally to PS5 games, so it should be treated as a sequence of possible steps—not proof of a particular cause or guaranteed repair.
